    Description

I'm a keen adventurer and spend lots of my time in the mountains, on the hills or in the rivers around the South Island of New Zealand. Mid week, there's few evenings I am not out for a mtb ride, a trail run or walk, a climb, a paddle or something else. My TV is hardly watched. :P

I've recently moved to a lifestyle plot just north of Dunedin (20min drive) and live in my tiny house, in amongst regenerating native bush, transforming some old forestry land, with nature all around and with a sunny, scenic outlook.

I've got a friendly (once he has met you) German Shepherd dog and chickens - but will be adding animals and gardens as this project progresses.

You'll need your own transport - no public transport here - but if you're cycling touring or a biker (and can fit one of my bikes) we can make it work! Good private places to camp or park your campervan too.

Not sure what jobs/work/tasks etc will be on the go when you come, but let's talk! I think development here will be shaped by everyone who comes along.

I'm now non-vocal, so chat using text-to-speech software, which seems to work well - but phone calls are one sided!

If you're interested, let me know and let's see what works for us all...

Oh - and my place is strictly a non-smoking house - the only smoke is from the fire in the winter :P

I'm a native Cantab (lived in Chch most of my life) but recently moved to Dunedin. I frequent loads of places that aren't on TripAdvisor (Note: you will be sworn not to tell too) and am happy to share these with visitors. I am also keen to swap stories and banter. :)

Kind of a fluid concept atm ;)

I've moved into a tiny house, but have a campervan as well and plenty of places to camp/vamp(van camp ;) )

Building a big sleepout too - but that's yet to be available.

There's some chances to house/puppysit too - when I'll be away so you'd have the run of everything yourself!
