    Description

We are developing the infrastructure for a Tiny house Eco Village intentional community called Safe Haven on 90 acres. It is also Permaculture project, Spiritual and healing retreat center and we are developing an “Off The Grid institute for sustainability” program where students can become certified in OFF GRID LIVING..

The Eco Village/Permaculture project is in the Spring City area of Utah with pine trees, juniper trees and sage brush. It has a beautiful view and is in nature with many squirrels, rabbits, eagles, humming birds, lizards etc. Work exchangers get to live in a rustic environment using propane stoves, generators for electricity, solar showers and a compost toilet! We do not have wifi, but the town 5 minutes away has wifi at coffee shops and the library. We are 7 minute from a Walmart. Just google map “White Hill” in Sanpete County and it will take you right to it!

The forming Tiny house Eco Village is under The Open Mind Foundation which is part of a our larger project, “Shekinah” City of Light. We are striving to be an Off-the-grid community so you will see how to set up rain water collection, solar panels and more.

Right now we are finishing our sunken community green house (Walipini) made of cob (layered earth). We are developing
We ask for 4 hours a day for room and board. Alcohol and drug free on the property please. We get high on nature!!! You would be staying in camp trailers, an earthen cottage or an army tent, whatever is available.

For fun we have sweat lodges, vision quests and concerts at our property. In the area there are breath taking mountains that can be discovered with rock climbing, lakes, fishing, horse back riding, etc.
The stars, camp fires and sunsets are amazing!!!

Most Work awayers are sad to leave and want to come back next year and plan to stay longer.
