We are located in Mount Franklin, near the tourist town of Daylesford - the mineral springs capital of Australia. We live on a 60 acre property and are looking for strong, hard working, energetic singles or couples to assist us with some building and landscaping projects.

We are looking for some assistance with a range of jobs including gardening/landscaping, general property maintenance and some small scale building projects. We would prefer people with building/outdoor experience or those that have the capacity to learn. The tasks we need assistance with is hard manual work such as chain sawing, fencing and carpentry so we need our volunteers to be physically capable and mentally committed. The work can be hard but the rewards are great as you will be surrounded by the most beautiful Australian countryside and living in first class accommodation.

The accommodation provided is a private room with queen sized bed, T.V. and ensuite in a modern style house with views across the property. A second private room with queen size bed is also available without T.V. or ensuite. Our home is set in serene bush land with country views and abundant wildlife.

We are located within the famous spa region of Victoria and surrounded by renowned restaurants and wineries. The historic goldmining towns of Castlemaine, Bendigo and Ballarat are only a short drive away, each with a direct train service to Melbourne. The Goldfields Track starts at the end of our road and features a 210km mountain bike/walking trail that takes you through beautiful bushlands and small historic villages.

The stay at Gaynor and Craig house was a wonderfull experience, of course you have to work hard and to do some dificult job but the reward is worth it : the landskape, the animals around and the great acomodation .
