Description
We live on a quiet lake in Western Washington on the Kitsap Peninsula. It is just the two of us. We both work remotely and enjoy yoga, pickleball, cornhole, and spending time on the lake when the weather cooperates. We laugh a lot, enjoy campfires, listen to music, love cooking, and spend time outdoors, kayaking or canoeing. Our winter months are spent at our home in Mexico, so please don’t request a stay if our calendar shows red (unavailable).
Types of help and learning opportunities
GardeningDIY and building projectsHelp around the houseGeneral MaintenanceCultural exchange and learning opportunities
You have the opportunity to practice yoga with a certified yoga teacher and use/learn handyman skills. Craig has lots of great tools and is willing to patiently teach you how to use them if you need guidance.
Help
We need help with small DIY tasks alongside ourselves for our private home (not for any spaces used by paying guests). Projects we need help with include landscaping, building a small retaining wall, adding some outdoor stairs, fencing, painting, staining the deck, and laying patio pavers.
You don't need to be an expert, but we hope you have good attention to detail and good communication. Please, no smokers or party people. We are pretty chill but do enjoy a moderate amount of adult beverages.Languages

We are less than two hours away from the Olympic Peninsula, the Pacific coast, and the Olympic/Cascade Mountains, and about an hour and a half from Seattle. The area is stunning and we often get picturesque sunrises on the lake.
