I'm Palitha and have a boutique hotel in Negombo. Situated just 300m from Negombo beach in a nice and silent area, we are surrounded by nature. We have 20 rooms and a nice vegetarian restaurant. In our property we also have cats and dogs we found on the street. For us it is very important to help them and look after them.

All my staff is originally from Sri Lanka. We will show you how life is as a Sri Lankan and how we live. Our restaurant cooks one of the best Sri Lankan currys on the whole island :), so you will enjoy at least one time a day Rice and Curry, and you will never miss the dhal curry. We interact with you and learn from your country as well.

At the moment we need people helping us to care a little bit with the few dogs and cats we have. Your knowledge about computers is also asked and can be very helpful for us. You can also help as a Guest relation.
We also looking for people who have learned massage/physiotherapy, especially for foot massage.

We provide a nice room with attached bathroom, the room has a fan and mosquito net. With Lilli (one of our dogs) you also have a bodyguard right in front of your door.

We also have another small guest house on the east coast with beautiful nature around. You will be able to stay there for free as well. Colombo city is not far away and we have some interessting parts also around here.
Also Negombo beach is just 5min walking distance away.

I was very fortunate to stay for 2 weeks in November. The accommodation was great and the Villa is beautiful. All the staff were lovely, kind and helpful. I stayed at Palitha's resort for nearly 5 days. It has enriched my overall experience of Sri Lanka. Very lovely, calm and relaxing place to volunteer. I stayed here for 2 weeks. Everyone is so nice and they really make you feel like younre at home. The animals where lovely to be around. Palitha was super helpful with everything and made my stay very pleasant. There isn't much to do around the area so if you want to have some time to chill this is the perfect place!

This is such a lovely and peaceful place. Palitha and all the staff make you feel like a family member. The animals are super cute, mainly the puppy Lula. I stayed in a nice room with three dogs - bodyguards in the garden. :) It was a really great experience and I hope to come back one day 🫶

I wish to stay more with palitha the stuff and the great dogs . they treated me as a family member and I felt useful as well . the accommodation was amazing and the beautiful beach around was great. it's was pleaser, really recommended!

I had a really good time there. Palitha and all the staff are super nice and try to make your stay very pleasant. The dogs and cats are super sweet and well taken care of.
