Description
We are a campsite located in the Fray Jorge Forest Biosphere World Reserve, a very special place since this forest is located on the border of the most arid desert in the world (Atacama desert), and survives thanks to the humidity of the coastal fog. In addition, this sector is part of the only Starlight reserve in South America where the darkness of the skies is protected and preserved, that is why we offer our visitors an astronomical experience consisting of a chat and subsequent observation by telescope, which Its purpose is to generate awareness and understand the value of living.
Somos un camping ubicado en la Reserva Mundial de la Biosfera Bosque Fray Jorge, un lugar muy especial ya que este bosque se encuentra en la frontera del desierto mas árido del mundo (desierto de atacama), y sobrevive gracias a humedad de la niebla costera. Además todo este sector es parte de la única reserva Starlight de Sudamerica en donde se protege y conserva la oscuridad de los cielos, es por esta razón que ofrecemos a nuestros visitantes una experiencia astronómica que consiste en una charla y posterior observación por telescopio, la cual tiene como fin generar conciencia y comprender lo valioso que significa vivir.

We are located within a world-wide biosphere reserve with skies with no light pollution. located in an old agricultural community, a cultural treasure because they only occur in certain places of Chile and where many as a result of progress have reached its dissolution, Here people are sensitive and consents to the environment that surrounds them. Respectful of biodiversity. Always bent on living in balance and harmony with nature.
The largest livelihood in this area is livestock grazing and agriculture. As well as the processing of algae coming from the coast.
Estamos ubicados dentro de una reserva mundial de la biosfera con cielos sin contaminación lumínica. localizados en una antigua comunidad agrícola, un tesoro culturalmente hablando ya que solo se dan en ciertos lugares de Chile y donde muchas como consecuencia del progreso han llegado a su disolución, Aquí la gente es sensible y consiente con el medio ambiente que lo rodea. Respetuosa con la biodiversidad. Siempre empeñados en vivir en equilibrio y armonía con la naturaleza.
El mayor sustento en esta área es el pastoreo de ganado y la agricultura. Así como también el procesamiento de algas provenientes de la costa.
Help
We are young entrepreneurs with a great project in tow. We are looking for help linked to construction, gardening and landscaping, reception and maintenance of campsites and cabins, help in administration and interaction with guests, as well as contributions of ecological ideas that we can apply at the campsite to be as sustainable as possible.
Accommodation is in a tent. If you don't have a tent we can lend one, as well as bedding and food.
Somos jóvenes emprendedores con un gran proyecto a cuestas. Buscamos ayuda ligada a la construcción, jardinería y paisajismo, recepción y mantenimiento de camping y cabañas, ayuda en la admistraccion he interacción con los huéspedes., así como aportes de ideas ecológicas que podamos aplicar en el camping para poder ser lo mas sustentable posible.
El alojamiento es en carpa. Si no tienes una carpa podemos prestar una, ademas de ropa de cama y comida.

if you are interested in coming, we can go through the various existing trails with some connection to the Pacific Ocean, visit the fishermen's coves where formerly there was a fluid exchange of products from the valleys to the ocean, as well as visit the relic forest Fray Jorge, to enjoy the existing tranquility, observation of native flora and fauna, to realize astronomical observation and to enjoy the beautiful nights illuminated only by the light of the stars
si te interesas en venir, podemos recorrer los distintos senderos existentes algunos con conecccion al oceano Pacifico, visitar las caletas de pescadores en donde antiguamente existía un fluido intercambio de productos desde los valles al oceano, asi como también poder visitar el bosque relicto Fray Jorge, gozar de la tranquilidad existente, observación de flora y fauna nativa, realizar observación astronómica y disfrutar de las hermosas noches iluminados solo por la luz de las estrellas
