We are a small home stay situated in beautiful West Sikkim. Our vision is to create a sustainable place for people to visit and work where they can experience a traditional Sikkimese lifestyle. In this period of fast globalisation we believe that it is essential to try to preserve ancient local knowledge; our home stay aims to preserve and celebrate Sikkimese architecture, agricultural methods and healing methods as well as maintaining a litter and toxin free environment. We are also working on Yoga courses where volunteers can give classes and in return learn Tibetan Buddhist meditation. We welcome volunteers to assist us in these projects.

Sikkim is a unique area of India situated in the narrow corridor that links India with Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan: consequently it is culturally and ethnically distinct from other regions of India. It's mountain terrain and rich Buddhist heritage encourage deep tranquility, peace and reflection. In an environment where people are friendly and the landscape dynamic, volunteers will experience hospitality within a home dedicated to preserving the cultural traditions of this spectacular Himalayan region.
Our home stay is dedicated to providing an experience for their guests which differs form that of other hotels. We are committed to preserving the traditions of Sikkim ranging from architecture to food and medicine. Consequently, volunteers will have the opportunity to engage in local practices of organic farming, food preparation and if they wish healing preparations. Volunteers will also get to to learn Tibetan Buddhist Meditation courses. Those volunteers who are good at Yoga can volunteer to teach here. where there will be a combination of Yoga courses, organic farming and Tibetan Buddhist Meditation courses.
The village of Sribadam where our home stay is situated enveloped between two monasteries, the activities of which deeply penetrate the surrounding community. Volunteers with in an interest in Buddhism are welcome to visit these sacred spaces in order to observe and engage in the ancient practices of Tibetan Buddhism.
