    Hello, I am "Nacho" have a farm in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, down from my father who I inherit me and I wanted to go slowly organizing it, the farm is organic coffee under forest, orchards and lands for reforestation I'm also organizing an area for recovery and improved quality of life for homeless animals. I'm at 1,100 mt above sea level above Minca, ecological capital of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta at 650 mt of altitude above sea level. The farm is isolated village in a completely natural and quiet right in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada where you can see the city from Miradore the bay of Santa Marta, El Rodadero, Neguanje Bay, El Morro environment and the immense forest surrounding the estate you can go up and down the people walk along a country road (uncovered) in the middle of the jungle.
    By minca passes a river that is one of the great attractions of the area there you will find with many travelers from all over the world where you can meet more people who visit us and the region that is also an endemic area for birds and amphibians so you will enjoy the colorful birds and flora that surrounds us and you will be filled with peace of mind for the peace of the mountain

    In this course, we will show the various stages of processes coffee bean, from planting to harvesting, through the care and corn production thanks to their quality has made Colombia one of the most important exporters of Coffee world.

    Surely you will learn things that will leave fond memories of our country and will definitely leave some trace of your culture during your stay you will be marked in our memory.

    Update note: We are planting cocoa, picking avocado and some citrus. Cafe is only in November until the end of January.

    Hola, soy “Nacho” tengo una finca en la sierra nevada de santa marta, antes era de mi padre quien me la heredo y he querido poco a poco ir organizandola, la finca es orgánica de café bajo bosque, frutales y terrenos para reforestar también estoy organizando un área para la recuperación y mejora de calidad de vida de animales sin hogar. Estoy a 1.100 mt sobre nivel del mar arriba de Minca, capital ecológica de la sierra nevada de santa marta a 650 mt de altura sobre el nivel del mar. La finca se encuentra Aislada (RETIRADA) del pueblo en un entorno completamente natural y tranquilo justo en las montañas de la Sierra Nevada desde donde se puede ver desde miradores la ciudad (la bahía de Santa Marta), El Rodadero, la Bahía de Neguanje y el inmenso bosque que rodea la finca, se puede subir y bajar al pueblo a pie por una carretera rural (destapada) a 1hora.
    Por minca pasa un río que es uno de los grandes atractivos de la zona ahi en el pueblo te encontraras con muchos viajeros de todas partes del mundo donde podrás conocer mas de la gente que nos visita y de la región que además es una zona endémica de aves y anfibios por lo cual disfrutaras del colorido de aves y la flora que nos rodea y te llenaras de gran tranquilidad por la paz de la montaña

    A tu llegada te ubicaremos en la habitación, te enseñaremos las instalaciones de la finca.

    En este transcurso, te mostraremos las distintas etapas de procesos del grano de café, desde su siembra hasta su recolecta, pasando por el cuidado y producción de este grano que gracias a su calidad ha hecho de Colombia uno de los exportadores más importantes de Café del mundo. El cafe se recolecta desde principio de noviembre a finales de febrero luego de acabada la cosecha iniciamos labores de mantenimiento de arboles de cafe.

    Nota de actualización : Estamos sembrando cacao, recogiendo aguacate y un poco de citricos. Cafe solo es en noviembre hasta finales de enero.

    La finca esta retirada del pueblo (minca) hay mucha tranquilidad y naturaleza.

    The tasks we perform are several, is simple, no experience necessary, only disposal.
    Sometimes you'll do as an assistant and other individually, from picking coffee beans to grow oranges, yard work, care of fruit, cleanliness, beautification of roads, help small construction , contribute ideas, creativity and handicrafts, each day brings its own adventure; it's fun.
    The cleaning and kitchen are shared among volunteers.

    Hours are 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, the day is free.

    You can benefit the entire estate to stroll along trails through the woods to the viewpoints, lie in hammock or do the typical walking tour to the village of minca, among other options, always enjoying the magic and charm of this nature inhabited by squirrels, ñaques, armadillos, guartinajas, ocelots, howler monkeys and endemic birds that make this forest a unique and exciting for lovers of nature. During your stay on the farm you will find a variety of fruits, you can eat all you want ... Orange, papaya, avocado, cacao, banana, guava, mandarin, mango ...


    Las labores que realizamos son varias, es simple, no se necesita experiencia, solo disposición.
    En unas ocasiones lo harás como ayudante y en otras de forma individual, desde recoger granos de café hasta plantar naranjas, cosechar plátanos, jardinería, cuidar árboles frutales, limpiar, embellecer caminos, ayudar en pequeñas obras de construcción, aportar ideas, creatividad y manualidades. , cada día trae su propia aventura; se trata de pasarla bien.
    Las tareas de limpieza y cocina se comparten entre los voluntarios.

    El horario es de 7:00 am hasta las 12:00 hs, el resto del día es libre.

    Podrás aprovechar toda la finca para pasear por sus senderos a través del bosque hasta llegar a los miradores, echarte en una hamaca o hacer el típico recorrido a pie hasta el pueblo de minca, entre otras opciones, siempre disfrutando de la magia y encanto de esta naturaleza habitada por ardillas, ñaques, armadillos, guartinajas, tigrillos, monos aulladores y aves endémicas que hacen de este bosque un lugar único y apasionante para los amantes de la naturaleza. Durante tu estadía en la finca encontrarás gran variedad de frutas, puedes comerte toda la quieras… Naranja, papaya, aguacate, cacao, guineo (banano), guanábana, mandarina, mango, malanga…

    We have a small shop with basic supplies and also offer available on request to get any kind of article in town. We recommend you bring hiking boots, sunscreen, flashlight , mosquito repellent , toilet paper , drugs if required.

    The farm is located in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in a privileged location from which can be seen from vantage points in the distance the sea , El Rodadero and the capital of Magdalena . It is a completely natural and peaceful setting where trees abound.


    The temperature is between 19-29 degrees Celsius, the winter season runs from May to December and there are only two winter and summer seasons.

    Tenemos una pequeña tienda con provisiones básicas y ademas ofrecemos la disponibilidad de conseguir bajo pedido cualquier tipo de articulo en la ciudad. Recomendamos traer botas para caminar, bloqueador solar, linterna, repelente de mosquitos, papel de baño,medicamentos si los requiere.

    La finca se encuentra en las montañas de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta en una ubicación privilegiada desde donde se puede ver desde miradores en la distancia el mar, El Rodadero y la capital del Magdalena. Es un entorno completamente natural y tranquilo donde abundan los arboles.


    La temperatura es entre 19 a 29 grados centígrados, la época de invierno va desde mayo a diciembre y solo hay dos estaciones invierno y verano.
