    Description

We’re Sophie & Julian, are an English couple with 2 small children (Charlotte, 3, and Felix, 8 months) and an eco-veggie plot where we keep chickens and grow vegetables. We are close to the sea, in the Ibiza countryside surrounded by beautiful nature and a pine forest. We have one dog, two house cats and a ton of strays and enjoy the tranquillity and simple family life.

We are looking for somebody upbeat, energetic, and keen to get stuck in to help with our day-to-day life with 2 kids and house management - general house-keeping, a bit of childcare and some light gardening.

Maintaining our veggie patch requires some regular weeding, planting and harvesting the vegetables, and generally keeping up the property and land… we’d like to build a treehouse for the kids and convert an outhouse into a bedroom.

We're interested in keeping the project sustainable, so any skills in that field are very interesting. We're very laid-back and enjoy cycling, supping or taking out our little boat when the weather is nice - which it nearly always is :)

We're within walking distance of three different beaches, and close to the Spanish village of San Josep. If you want to practise Spanish it's a great place to start. I'm a part-time Spanish teacher

There is a pick-your-own veg garden and we keep chickens too for fresh daily eggs. The house is surrounded by nature, yet only 10 minutes from the closest town for cinema, restaurants etc. We have two cars so can help you get around but it’s also super cheap to hire cars in the off-season so if you’d rather be independent that’s easy too.

We rent out our house in summer so we always need help maintaining it … weeding, clearing land, planting vegetables and maybe a bit of painting. We also have small children so need some help sometimes supervising them whilst we get stuck into outdoor projects.

In the daytime you'll be free to explore the island and visit Ibiza's many interesting beaches. There is lots to see, even out of season, so it's a great place to visit.
