    Description

We are a couple Caroline and Rich who love travel and have lived in many corners of the world and love discovering new places and experiences. We arrived in Lanzarote about 15 years ago and after feeling that we would never find a place we would call home, got completely drawn in by the energy and unique beauty of Lanzarote and its friendly locals.

Think stunning sunsets against a surreal backdrop of dramatic volcanoes, starfilled skies, lush vine yards in contrast with turquoise waters and white sandy beaches.

I guess you can tell why we love Lanzarote and want to share its secrets with you!

We were lucky enough to be able to buy and renovate a traditional Canarian house in 2008 and restore it into a colourful and friendly Guest House which attracts guests and fellow travellers from all over the world.

We are a creative couple who love travel, art, photography, music, surfing, hiking, caving, rock climbing, yoga, sailing.. etc.etc.....

I think travellers can benefit from living in a shared Guest house with other international guests and and sharing their stories, experiences, and also practising and learning new languages and about working in Tourism.

Also to enjoy the many amazing cultural experiences of our local artist Ceasar Manrique and his philosopies on sustainable tourism.

Exploring and learning about our fascinating Island which is classed as a Biosphere and Timafaya National Park which is world famous for its preserved volcanic landscapes..

We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful north of the Island, an ideal place to disconnect from your daily routines..

It is a great base to explore from.......La Garita Beach in Arrieta , the natural rock pools of Punta Mujeres, La Corona Volcano which is the highest in Lanzarote and possibly the oldest in the Canaries....Haria with its colourful Saturday Artesan Market, the beautiful Island of La Graciosa, Caleton Blanca turquoise lagoons, J'ameous d'Agua, Los Cuevos verde and the Cactus Garden (Many of the cultural centres created by our famous local artist Cesar Manrique.)

We are in a good location to explore the north of the island....the bus stop is about a 20 minute walk away..where you can catch a bus to Arrecife to connect with the rest of the Island...We also have 2 basic mountain bikes that can be used if our guests are not using them.....and have lots of good tips and information for all the good places to visit, great treks, hidden beaches and off the beaten path places..and hitchiking is common with the locals...

In their time off...travellers can go swimming, sunbathing, surfing, walking, caving, exploring volcanoes, hikking, do yoga and meet the friendly locals and also our International guests..
