    ---------------------------------------
    Update december 2023
Whats on the menu? :) Main activities for december:
Around the 20th of december need two volunteers for picking olives together wirh another volunteer who is here long term. Further: collecting and arranging firewood, mulching, trimming, cooking if you like. Very comfortable room available.
    ---------------------------------------

🌈 Welcome to my little big self sustaining farm. Please do read the profile 🌈

NB. Para practicar y mejorar mi Español, prefiero hispanohablantes como idioma materna! But of course everyone is welcome in principal :)

First of all, some important stuff for us to be able to have a great experience:
1 Being a naturalist, I spend most of my life in and out of the house in this lovely peace of sunny earth naked. It doesn't mean you have to yourself, but then, you should not have a problem with it.
2 Neither you should have a problem with the fact that I am gay.
3 Next, I have a (super friendly, lovely) dog here, so if you are allergic or afraid, please consider.
4 And last point: I am only looking for NON smokers, sorry.
Please mention in your request that you are OK with these 4 points, so we avoid misunderstandings.

This place would suite someone peaceful, relaxed, and a bit nuts :) as it is quite secluded (Though some villages within 20 to 40 minutes walk) and 100% pure peace and nature. This is no place for big parties (though I have one terrace with disco lights :))
Main areas of help (all depending on season and needs of course):
    - people who manage chainsaw well mostly welcome for tree cutting
    - collecting dead wood from all around
    - weeding
    - planting
    - fruit picking ( mainly: Almonds, around spetember, and olives, around december
    - massage/yoga if you like practicing or exchanging (I am more often than not stiff....)

I moved to the amazing Alpujarra in 2016. Here I live in the open nature. Between Alcutar and Cádiar. Farm for mainly self sustaining. Solar energy mainly. Source water as well as mains. Views of all the surroundings are amazing, with many wonderful walking or biking routes around.

30 olives, 15 almonds and variety of fruit trees.
The farm has a tiny, a small and a large house. The large house is sometimes rented for (often lovely) tourists, Got 200 or so 5*️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️ reviews, especially over the view :) When rented, we could share a studio, or you can stay in the shed, where you can have your private area and share the kitchen/bath in the studio.

Will be happy to share knowledge and stories with you.

    Bienvenido!

I could teach you self taught stuff like reworking products and some farming stuff. Contemplate about life, languages, and whatever will pop up :). We can also go on beautiful walks. Last, having travelled a lot, and lived in a couple of places, I can help you if you are contemplating changing your life (style)

This host offers a language exchange
Hablo hebreo, inglés y holandés con fluidez. Podría hacer un intercambio de idiomas de cualquiera de estos idiomas con el español, que hablo casi con fluidez, pero como vivo en España, necesito hacerlo lo más perfecto posible :) I speek Hebrew, English and Dutch fluently. Could do language exchange of any of this languages with Spanish, which I speek almost fluently, but as I live in Spain, need to make it as perfect as I can.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

The farm has a tiny, a small and a large house. The large house is sometimes rented for (often lovely) tourists. Depending on the situation and the duration of your stay, you might have, when there are no tourists, a spacious private room, with own terrace and lovely views. Otherwise you can sleep in the tiny building, or share the studio with me until tourists leave. Sharing or private facilities.

    What else ...

Gente que hable Español como idioma nativa esta muy bienvenida, para que pueda practicar y mejorar mi Español.

    Transport:
Arrival: possible by bus from Malaga, Granada or Almeria. I can help with planning.
Searching on Bus company Alsa.es you should look for busses to either Cadiar or Alcutar. For each there are a couple a day. Both bring you within 20-40 minutes walk to here I can meet you at the bus stop and we walk or drive together.

    Things to do:
Being in the province of Granada, tipping the Sierra Nevada, lots of cultural and especially nature activity possible.
I have a spare mountain bike which you may use. One amazing bike is going down from the Sierra Nevada to the coast. We could do it together. A beautiful thrill :)
The Alpujarra is an amazing place for walks in nature and between villages. You can easily walk from here into the Sierra Nevada and back within the same day:)

    Abrazos and hugs, Uri!
