    Description

Hi we are a couple and live in a smallholding in the heart of the Dordogne with our 2 dogs and 3 horses.

We would prefer a couple or a responsible individual to come and care for our home and very soft and spoilt Cane Corso dog, 3 very easy free range horses and 6 chickens and Cockerel. No riding required but confidence around horses is a must. Daily jobs will include clearing any muck from the stables and paddocks - horses will choose to come and go as they please free-range and ensuring water is accessible at all times. Approximately 2 hours of work each day. We also have 6 chickens to look after - free eggs! and a small veggie plot to water and of course the very lovely Princess Lolita who loves cuddles, fuss and lazing around on the soffa...or your bed!

Flexible dates away - We will be away for approximately 10 days, allowing for two or three days together prior to our departure so you can learn our routine before we head off.

Our other younger dog Freddie will be travelling with us.

There will be plenty of free time for sightseeing and exploring this beautiful area. We live on the edge of forestry with endless trails for walking/cycling/riding, it is a very beautiful, peaceful setting.

Sorry our home is not suitable for children or other dogs. Ideally you will need your own transport as we are very rural but you can have access to our car if you hold an international license.

You will have your own private space in a lovely one bedroom Apartment where you can cook for yourself and have privacy. Good internet access is available.

    What else ...

Beautiful part of the Dordogne, near Belves, Montpazier and Beaumont. Not on any bus routes so own transport would be helpful. Can supply bikes but if you love walking there are some amazing trails right from the doorstep. If you are a confident horse rider then you can come out on trail rides with us.
