    Hi there,

We are Lehcen and Hassan. We grew up in a little traditional village 11 km from tagounite. We lived with our family here. Unfortunatly our family moved to tagounite because of the waterproblem. But we love it here so much, we came back 4 years ago to live here. So we are looking for people who want to help us build the house. We live in a traditional house (Kasbah), it has bedrooms, living room, kitchen, toilet, garden and enough space to relax.
Now we need help with making bricks, carry stones, building a new kitchen, fixing walls, carry sand for the bricks, carrying water, help with cleaning dishes toilet and the house, give water to the plants and animals, picking dades one time in the year.
We have chickens, dogs, a cat and goats.
We cook traditional Berber food and all eat together 3 times a day.
If you want we can teach you.
We also have a nomad oven and sometimes we make fresh bread.
We have wifi. (there is a fee).

We ask 5 euro (55 dirham) per day per person for the food.

There is enough to do here like visiting tagounite, the market, desert, walking to the mountains, go to weddings, sand snowboarding, meet my family and friends.

We work max 3 hours a day, max 5 days a week, usually after breakfast, after that you are free.

You have a lot of free time every day.
Bring things (books, games, walking shoes, knit utensils 😊) to entertain yourself with.

Bring clothes that can get dirty, flip flops, washing powder to wash your cloths (you can buy it in Tagounite), a hat against the sun in the summer (march till november), warm clothes in the winter months, sunscreen, anti mosquito spray (you can buy it in Tagounite)

We have one man staying with us, he helps with everything also the work and cooking, so you will also be working with him.

There are wild dogs everywhere in Morocco. Some of them are dangerous. We advice you not to go for a walk alone and if you do, stay on the path and bring a strong stick with you. We advise everybody to go walking with others.

    Warning:
Watch out everywhere in Morocco for black magic and love scams.
Black magic: It happens a lot. Never eat anything just made for you. Only eat and drink shared tea and food. They can also do black magic when they know your full name and have a photo of you.
Love scams: They hunt for western partners to give them money or get them to the West through marriage.

You can get here with ctm or supratours buses from any big city.
From Marrakech every day a CTM bus departes at 11.15 AM, arrival 9 PM in Tagounite.
We pick you up from the bus station in Tagounite.
