  Hello!!
  
  We are Mariano and Asun, a couple of pensioners who live with our two cats and our bitch in a house with garden in the council of Cudillero in Asturias.
  
  We would like to invite to our house a person who enjoys working in the garden like pruning, clearing, removing weeds, and general maintenance work. The Garden is about 3500m2, but the work is not particularly hard and the weather is pleasant, not too hot and cool at night, which allows you to enjoy hours in the air and in the sun (and the fog !!!). Working hours of 5 hours a day in the mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 5 days a week, with free weekends and afternoons.
  
  Our house is on the coastal strip on the beaches of the council, it is a beautiful place full of rivers, wild beaches, forests and mountains, picturesque fishing villages and much to see, visit and explore in your free time. We can offer you a bike so you can move independently.
  
  We offer a spacious room with two beds and bathroom, independent on the top floor of the house. Breakfast lunch and dinner (NO vegetarian) that we can share or make each one according to the moment.
  Our level of English is low and that of medium French. We can spend time practicing Spanish.

  Somos Mariano y Asun, una pareja de jubilados que vivimos con nuestros dos gatos y nuestra perra en una casa con jardín en el concejo de Cudillero en Asturias.
  
  Nos gustaría invitar a nuestra casa a una persona que disfrute del trabajo en el jardín como podar, desbrozar, retirar las malas hierbas, y trabajos de mantenimiento general. El Jardín es amplio de unos 3500m2 pero el trabajo no es especialmente duro y el clima, agradable, no muy caluroso y fresco por las noches que permite perfectamente disfrutar de horas al aire y al sol (y a la niebla!!!). El horario de trabajo de 5 horas al día por las mañanas de 9.00 a 14.00, 5 días a la semana, teniendo los fines de semana libres, y las tardes.
  
  Nuestra casa está en la franja costera sobre las playas del concejo, es un lugar muy bonito lleno de rios, playas salvajes, bosques y monte, pueblos pesqueros pintorescos y mucho que ver, visitar y explorar en tu tiempo libre. Te podemos ofrecer una bici para que puedas moverte de forma independiente.
  
  Ofrecemos una habitación amplia con dos camas y baño, independiente en el piso de arriba de la casa. Desayuno comida y cena (NO vegetariano) que podremos compartir o hacerse cada cual la suya según el momento.
  Nuestro nivel de Inglés es escaso y el de francés mediano. Podemos dedicar tiempo a practicar el español.

  We do not speak much English and we understand French quite well, so if you are looking for a place to practice your Spanish, this is your place. There are also many places to visit and explore in the area, mainly the nature that is beach and mountain.
  
  There are buses to the main Asturian cities, which you can reach within an hour. Oviedo, Gijón and Avillés have an interesting cultural offer especially in the summer months with various musical and cultural festivals.
  
  The council of Cudillero, in which our house is located, is part of the circuit of the northern section of the Camino de Santiago.
  
  Nosotros no hablamos mucho inglés y entendemos bastante bien el frances así que si estás buscando un lugar en el que practicar tu español, este es tu sitio. También hay en la zona muchos sitios que visitar y explorar, principalmente la naturaleza que es de playa y montaña.
  
  Hay autobuses a las principales ciudades Asturianas a las que puedes llegar en una hora como máximo. Oviedo, Gijón y Avillés tienen una oferta cultural interesasnte sobre todo en los meses de verano con diversos festivales musicales y culturales.
  
  El concejo de Cudillero, en el que se encuentra nuestra casa, forma parte del circuito del tramo Norte del Camino de Santiago.

  Help

  It is about keeping the garden free of weeds and pruning the trees when necessary, clearing and watering though it will be seldom because it rains a lot. Also some simple DIY work if necessary. The work is relaxed and pleasant and professional knowledge is not lacking although we do appreciate that you have some experience and enjoy these tasks.
  
  Common spaces like the living room and the kitchen need the care of those who use them so we expect your daily collaboration in maintenance. The cleaning of your room and your bathroom correspond to you.
  
  Se trata de mantener el jardín libre de malas hierbas y podar los árboles cuando sea necesario, desbrozar y regar aunque será pocas veces porque llueve bastante. También algún trabajo de bricolaje sencillo si fuera necesario. El trabajo es relajado y agradable y no hacen falta conocimientos profesionales aunque si valoramos que tengas cierta experiencia y disfrutes con estas tareas.
  
  Los espacios comunues como el salón y la cocina necesitan el cuidado de aquellos que los usamos así que esperamos tu colaboración diaria en el mantenimiento. La limpieza de tu habitación y tu baño te corresponden a ti.

  Accommodation

  A spacious and sunny room with an annex bathroom in the upper part of the house. Common spaces such as living room and kitchen. We put the towels and the bedding.
  
  It would be interesting if you brought some rain boots and a warm jacket for the nights that are cool even if it's summer.
  
  Our diet is omnivore based on meat, fish, dairy products, eggs, cereals and vegetables. We are looking for people who are able to adapt to our diet and enjoy Mariano's cooking (when he cooks !!!). You can also make your meals to your liking, and take them on excursions, or just cook for you alone.
  
  Una habitacion amplia y soleada con baño anexo en la parte de arriba de la casa. Espacios comunes como salón y cocina. Nosotros te ponemos las toallas y la ropa de cama.
  
  Sería interesante que te trajeras unas botas para la lluvia y una chaqueta de abrigo para las noches que son fresquitas aunque sea verano.
  
  Nuestra dieta es omnivora basada en carne, pescados, lacteos, huevos, cereales y vegetales. Esperamos personas que sean capaces de adaptarse a nuestra dieta y disfruten de la cocina de Mariano (cuando le da por cocinar!!!). También puedes hacerte tus comidas a tu gusto, y llevártelas de excursión, o simplemente cocinar para ti solo.

  What else ...

  Beaches, rivers, mountains, Camino de Santiago, Asturian pre-Romanesque art, festivals and live music in nearby cities and towns.
  
  Asturias Airport at 20 km (we pick you up there), direct buses from the airport to the central cities of the region every hour. Local bus twice a day and bicycle !!
  
  Where we live there is access to a small shop and a couple of bars but you have guaranteed fun in the nearby areas as well as a couple of larger supermarkets. If you have specific needs, it is better to bring what you need with you.

  Playas, ríos, montes, camino de Santiago, arte pre-románico asturiano, festivales y musica en directo en las ciudades y pueblos cercanos.
  
  Aeropuerto de Asturias a 20 km (os recogemos nosotros alli), autobuses directos desde el aeropuerto a cada hora a las cuidades centrales de la región. Autobús de línea local dos veces al día y bicicleta!!
  
  Donde nosotros vivmos hay acceso a una pequeña tienda y un par de bares pero tienes diversión garantizada en lo spueblos cercanos asi como un par de supermercados más grandes. Si tienes necesidades espécificas es mejor que traigas contigo lo que necesites.
