At this stage we have workers for the next few months.
When we are having more workers I will update our page.
Surf - canoe - boating - swim - cycle
- bush walks - sand skiing - lots of Cafes.
Whale watching
ALL food is provided and we will regularly take you to free restaurants and cafes.
Also FREE wifi. We have 2-3 bedrooms set aside of workers with their own bathroom.
Each week we spent 1-2 days doing tourist things including 25km walks around Sydney city, a cycle around Newcastle, visit the Australian Reptile Park, lots of beach visits.
OUR SPECIAL INTERESTS INCLUDE LOW COST DISABLED HOUSING.
We run a number of mainly low cost houses for disabled, homeless and poor people.
Your work will help us to keep our costs down - we want to provide homes not just houses.
WHEN WE WORK?
Mainly work 3-4 days a week .
Sometimes we work 5 mornings a week
Weekends always free.
Max 24 hrs a week.
We will work out with you your preference.
Each week we spent at least 1 day together sight seeing - lots of walking or cycling. Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle
TASKS
Our next big project is to get a house we used for disabled people ready to sell. Our aim is then build a new disabled house. (Purpose designed for disabled people)
WHO WE ARE?
My wife is a part time church pastoral care worker (Sunday-Wednesday)
I am a semi retired pastor.
We can also cater for vegetarians or vegan and any special food needs.
PS my wife is an amazing cook.
WHAT YOU CAN DO?
I have lots of bikes and surf gear and swim/surf often
We are surrounded by bike tracks, great walks and surf beaches
Lots to see and do.
We have had 122 workaway style workers and love entertaining!

- We provide a range of Australian foods.
- Swimming and surf with body boards. I can teach you to body surf or ride a boogie board. Plus surf boards
- can go cycling - we have some spare bikes.

We normally provide a home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I really enjoyed showing him Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We would have him again anytime
The work was not difficult and consisted of different tasks in a house they were renovating in Penrith. The hours were flexible and we had plenty of free time. However, there was a lot of travel time (1h45) to reach the house to be renovated.

He worked like a champion and was great to have around. I highly recommend him . We would have him back any day .
As a person who has never travelled much yet and never used workaway before, I was very worried in the beginning.
But Rob and Jenny let you forget all your sorrows.
Rob has so many nice spots he will go to with you and Jenny is a fantastic cook so your time here is going to get unforgettable!

We did out door painting and preparation and heavy digging of removing turf to put down pebbles. Both exhausting jobs that they did perfectly.
I can highly recommend them and would have them back in a heart beat.
They are also great cooks so letting them loose in the kitchen will be a blessing.
We really lived having them and they are always welcome to return.
They English is good and have a great work ethic.
