    Description

We are in the early stages of building an alternative 'eco-home' on a beautiful plot of land in Warburton, Victoria.
Our aim is to develop the property into a sustainable, creative and unique piece of architecture with innovative permaculture landscaping!

The property is a 10min walk to the centre of Warburton village, with great vintage shops, cafes, pizzeria and a small supermarket. There is a creek at the bottom of the property and an indoor compost loo. It will be tent living (we can provide the tents/teepees) or you can bring your own campervan.

There is an amazing freshwater swimming spot just a short walk away, (we will probably swim every day after work to freshen up before a delicious shared dinner! )

We will provide all meals, camping equipment and will be more than happy to take you on trips around the area after work.

We can teach you the foundations of permaculture, carpentry skills and landscaping. We can also help with learning English.
We will share this magical piece of Victoria with you and welcome you into our home/tents!
Warburton is a great place to relax and unwind, swim in the rivers, thrift shop and go hiking, but is never short of fun things to do:

The beautiful Mt Donna Buang (Great hiking and MTBing),
Yarra River swimming spots, waterfalls, spring,
    Healsville Animal Sanctuary,
Four Pillars Gin Distillery (they have great tours - free gin!)
...and only an hour from Melbourne!

  • Help

    Help

As we are in the early stages of the build we mostly need help with landscaping, clearing the creek, cleaning,
building preparation, demolishing some of the existing structure, weeding, planting, painting, stonework and fencing.

Ideally, you would have some experience in gardening or basic carpentry - but we can teach most things. The most important thing is willingness to work and to have fun doing it!
