Description
Hello!
We live on the West coast of France about five minutes by car from the coast (around an hour North of La Rochelle). We are an English family of three (our son is 14 years old) and we have lived in France for almost ten years. My husband is renovating our house which is set in a pretty hamlet near Longeville-sur-mer and I am an English teacher. We have a cat, who mainly lives outside and a few chickens. It's very peaceful here but we are around half an hour away from La Sables d' Olonne, La Roche sur Yon and Lucon so bigger Cities are not too far away! Jard sur mer and La Tranche sur mer are around 10 minutes away and are really popular seaside towns in high season.
This area is perfect if you like to surf as we have a couple of really fab beaches (les conches, bud bud) not too far away .
