We have a happy home life with a wide circle of family (in Cork and Dublin) and friends in the immediate area. I am a human rights lawyer and have traveled, worked & lived in many countries and enjoy exchanging perspectives on culture, social, arts, politics and history. I am seeking a native Spanish speaking volunteer.

I am looking for some someone with spirit and enthusiasm to have fun with and to help build the Spanish language of my 9 year old son by speaking to him in Spanish. He has a passive understanding of the Spanish developed by his mum who died in Spring 2015 & our hosting of previous Spanish-speaking au pairs. He is a resilient and kind boy, who loves a long list of things .... the Music, cooking, gardening, star wars, Harry potter. He is is proud of, & keen to learn more about all things to do with, Mexico where he was born.

We live in beautiful part of the country on the edge of the village of Oldcastle (an hour from Dublin). There is a daily bus connection to Dublin. use of bike and car lifts to help explore the surrounding countryside and introduce a volunteer to Irish culture and history and many interesting sites in the area. There are many festivals and heritage music and cultural events in the area and possibilities to learn new skills.
