Description
We are a local non-profit organisation that operates on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was founded on August 6, 2002.The head office is in the city of Jalal-Abad, which is located in the southern part of the Kyrgyz Republic. We are created with the purpose to participate in the development of positive changes in the lives of the local population and young people and the improvement of their living conditions.
We help to bring societies and local authorities closer together, to establish an effective dialogue, and strong relationship between them. The foundation works in the following areas:
• Implementation of youth initiatives aimed at increasing the capacity and socio-cultural development of rural youth,
• Local government and civil society capacity building,
• Assistance in improving the services and livelihoods of the territories,
• Development of training and information materials,
• Research and analytical work.

Jalal-Abad province is famous for its walnut forests in Arslanbop. Arslanbop is 120 km away from Jalal-Abad city. It is a place which is included to the tourists route in the south of Kyrgyzstan.
If you are a person who likes silence, mountains, pure water and fresh air this is a small paradise for you. You will have a real chance to learn about our culture, the way of life, try national foods and fruits, sleep in Yurts in fresh air. All these things will make you full with positive energy for the whole year.
Help
We are looking for a volunteer who has skills in web-site development to participate in the project where we assist to local authorities in developing websites. This is very important project because by helping local authorities in creating and using its own websites we help them to be more transparent, open and accountable to citizens. We have local IT specialist who is involved in this project, but he needs support and fresh knowledge in doing websites easy and friendly in using. Please come and join our team.

Accommodation
We have several host families. A volunteer can choose any of them. All these families have children who want to practice English. The accommodation for volunteer is a special room with bed, a table and chair, internet access, shower and rest room.

Jalal-Abad town is not so big. The transportation is very cheap, not more than 20 cents for one side route. There is a resort " Jalal-Abad" with mineral water water sources in the suburban of the town.
