  • Description

    Description

It is a Community based Organization. Our passion is to empower communities to have enough nutritious foods and an income to live a self sustaining future.
We also have a demonstration center through which we demonstrate nature friendly agronomic practices that increase crop productivity, boost income and improve livelihood. We also have rural women and youth groups in communities and we empower them with skills of making organic manure and pesticide; savings and credit management, gender and human rights, business management plus small and medium enterprises.
This has helped our members to live healthier, have an income and enjoy a better livelihood.
We are planning to set up a computer training center for the youth, involve ourselves in Eco-tourism and also amplify our nutritional outreaches.

    Accommodation

They will be accommodated at our Center. We have two types of accommodation; round houses suitable for campers and a simple modern house. We are also planning to construct a grass thatched house. They are the ones to decide which of the two they prefer. All these are not self contained, so they will be using outside pit toilets and outside bathrooms. As of now we are using solar because we don't have electricity. They will be getting meals from our center. They will also be interacting with other local volunteers with in the community as it has been on the previously hosted volunteers

We will feed the volunteers at the center with our local meals (but these will be very good and delicious). so they should be ready to adjust to local feeding. But they are also free to buy any other food that they want in the nearby restaurants and super markets.
