  I (Marlies) am Dutch and 66 years old. I don't drink and I don't smoke. I live in an old farmhouse from 1890, which I bought with my husband, who died in 2021. We renovated it ourselfs, but there are still many things to be done. Things I can't do on my own. I need a few extra hands and I prefer strong hands. Male or female, it doesn't matter, as long as you can work.
  
  I am a very busy person and like to talk, I am modern, young at heart, very creative, a bit introverted, but very open minded and sociable. I can do a lot myself, but I am no longer in 100% shape and my 2 hands aren't enough. It is not a new construction project, but a challenge to solve problems and renovations as cheaply and creatively as possible. So it doesn't have to be perfect.
  
  I like to walk in nature (max about 5km, I can't do more). I like to photograph, paint, knit and recycle everything I see... and and.... I make art, deco, paint glass and make jewelry and have a small exhibition room.
  I love a lot of colors, I love eating and cooking, but preferably simple and pure meals. I like nature, art, culture and music and have a wide spectrum of interests. But I don't like big crowds, markets, big towns or lots of people (by exception a nice little festival).
  I speak Dutch and pretty good German and English.

  Ich (Marlies) bin Holländerin und 66 Jahre alt. Ich trinke nicht und ich rauche nicht. Ich lebe in einem alten Bauernhaus von 1890, das ich mit meinem 2021 verstorbenen Mann gekauft habe. Wir haben es selbst renoviert, aber es gibt noch viel zu tun. Dinge, die ich nicht alleine schaffen kann. Ich brauche ein paar zusätzliche Hände und ich bevorzuge starke Hände. Männlich oder weiblich, egal, solange du arbeiten kannst.
  
  Ich bin sehr anwesend und rede gerne, ich bin modern, jung im Herzen, sehr kreativ, etwas introvertiert, aber sehr offen und sehr sozial. Ich kann vieles selber machen, bin aber nicht mehr 100% fit und meine 2 Hände reichen nicht aus. Es ist kein Neubauprojekt, sondern eine Herausforderung Probleme und Renovierungen möglichst günstig und kreativ zu lösen. Es muss also nicht perfekt sein.
  
  Ich gehe gerne in der Natur spazieren (max. ca. 5km, mehr geht nicht). Ich fotografiere, male, stricke und recycle gerne alles was ich sehe... und und.... Ich mache Kunst, deko, male Glas und mache Schmuck und habe einen kleinen Ausstellungsraum.
  Ich liebe viele Farben, liebe es zu essen und zu kochen, aber am liebsten einfache und pure Gerichte. Ich mag Natur, Kunst, Kultur und Musik und bin vielseitig interessiert. Aber ich mag keine großen Massen, Märkte, großen Städte oder viele Menschenmengen (ausnahmsweise ein nettes kleines Festival).
  Ich spreche Niederländisch und ziemlich gut Deutsch und Englisch.

  The best is, you have a car of yourself, otherwise you are totally depending of me for visiting the beautifull seroundings. Our little village is a bit in the middle of nowhere. There is only 1 bus a day in the village.
  If you are a quiet person, that need no big exitement , who likes to walk and don't have to go somewhere every day or everyday roadtrips, I can pick you up at the train station in Bullay (12km), or at the Airport Hahn ( 23km), that's no problem.
  
  On free times, I like to show you some nice locations (they are sufficient) and show you around in the area if you like. There are a lot of historical things to see, like castles and ruins, beautiful picturesque villages and breathtaking views. I like to take a walk as well, but not more than about 5 km, because I have a problem with more.
  We can shop together and you are always welcome to help with the cooking, you can cook too if you want.
  
  And we always find the time to be creative together, there is enough to do and I'm willing to teach you some skills, of maybe you can teach me someting. I have many stories to tell, because I had an very exciting life and I also like to listen. But most of all, it must be a relaxed and nice experience to be with me.

  Das Beste ist, du hast ein eigenes Auto, ansonsten bist du für den Besuch der schönen Umgebung völlig auf mich angewiesen. Unser kleines Dorf liegt ein bisschen im Nirgendwo. Es gibt nur 1 Bus pro Tag im Dorf.
  Wenn de ein ruhiger Mensch bist, der keine große Aufregung braucht, gerne spazieren geht und nicht jeden Tag irgendwohin muss, kann ich dich vom Bahnhof in Bullay (12 km) oder vom Flughafen abholen Hahn (23km), das ist kein Problem.
  
  In meiner Freizeit zeige ich dir gerne ein paar schöne Locations (genugend hier) und zeige dir, wenn du magst, auch die Umgebung. Es gibt viele historische Dinge zu sehen, wie Burgen und Ruinen, wunderschöne malerische Dörfer und atemberaubende Ausblicke. Ich gehe auch gerne spazieren, aber nicht mehr als etwa 5 km, denn mit mehr habe ich ein Problem.
  Wir können zusammen einkaufen und de kannst jederzeit beim Kochen helfen, du kannst auch selber kochen, wenn du möchtest.
  
  Und wir finden immer die Zeit, zusammen kreativ zu sein, es gibt genug zu tun und ich bin bereit, dich einige Fähigkeiten beizubringen, oder vielleicht kannst du mir etwas beibringen. Ich habe viele Geschichten zu erzählen, denn ich hatte ein sehr aufregendes Leben und höre auch gerne zu. Aber vor allem muss es eine entspannte und schöne Erfahrung sein, mit mir zusammen zu sein.

  I am looking for someone (40+), who can bricklaying and grouting (little walls, inside and outside), plastering walls new (not very clean or proper, it's no living area) and painting (the outside wall), doors and doorframes. I'm having some drainage problems, so I need some digging and drains need to be reconnected. I have to cover a small roof with tar and put posts in the ground for a fence. I could also use a carpenter. So you see, it's not one big project, but a lot of small ones. I need some special skills and it would be nice you have some.
  
  You work about 3 to max. 5 hours a day (5 days a week), depending on what we are doing and everything in consultation. Because I cooperate and I can't do it all day long. The rest of the day is yours (or ours) and free. It's also a little easy come easy go.... and for me... my day ends after 19:00 or 20:00 o' clock (exception aside). So I have a little time for myselfs.

  Ich suche jemanden (40+), der mauern und verfugen kann (kleine Wände, innen und außen), Wände neu verputzen (nicht sehr sauber oder ordentlich, es ist kein Wohnbereich) und streichen (Außenwand), Türen und Türrahmen. Ich habe einige Probleme mit der Entwässerung, also muss ich etwas graben und die Abflüsse müssen wieder angeschlossen werden. Ich muss ein kleines Dach mit Teer bedecken und Pfosten für einen Zaun in den Boden machen. Ich könnte auch einen Schreiner. Du siest also, es ist kein großes Projekt, sondern viele kleine. I brauche also was besondere Fähigkeiten und es wäre schön du hasst die.
  
  Du arbeitest ca. 3 bis max. 5 Stunden am Tag (5 Tage die Woche), je nachdem, was wir tun und alles in Absprache. Weil ich mitmache und das nicht den ganzen Tag kann. Der Rest des Tages steht dich (oder uns) zur freien Verfügung. Es ist auch ein bisschen easy come easy go.... und für mich... endet mein Tag nach 19:00 oder 20:00 Uhr (Ausnahme beiseite). So habe ich ein wenig Zeit für mich.

  Accommodation

  You would live in a little, but complete holidayhouse of 55 square meter, wich is a part of the original farm house. Smoking IN the house is not permitted. I prefer someone who doesn't smoke at all.
  
  There is a bedroom (with 2 seperate beds), a livingroom with a music instalation, a tv, books and games, a fully equipped kitchen (only 1,83 high) and a cozy little Badroom with toilet. There is Wifi (but not too good), a separate small terrace and a parking place. Behind the house is another sitting area where you are very private.
  
  I myselfs live nextdoor, in a "new" (30 years old) apartment in the former stables. I pay for all the food and drinks for the day. Extra's like candy or special drinks you must buy yourself.
  
  At work, during the day, we eat together if it comes that way. The warm meals (around 17:00 or 18:00 o' clock in consultation) we eat together in my house or outside on my terrace. I eat meat (but not a lot, not every day and it is no must) and cook vegetarian als well. The meals (Dutch, Indonisian, Italian and so on) are simple, but nutritious.

  Du wirst in einem kleinen, aber kompletten Ferienhaus von 55 Quadratmetern wohnen, das ein Teil des ursprünglichen Bauernhauses ist. Das Rauchen im Haus ist nicht gestattet. Ich bevorzuge jemanden, der überhaupt nicht raucht.
  
  Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer (mit 2 getrennten Betten), ein Wohnzimmer mit Musikanlage, Fernseher, Büchern und Spielen, eine voll ausgestattete Küche (nur 1,83 m hoch) und ein gemütliches kleines Badezimmer mit Toilette. Es gibt WLAN (aber nicht so gut), eine separate kleine Terrasse und einen Parkplatz. Hinter dem Haus ist eine weitere Sitzecke, wo du sehr privat bist.
  
  Ich selbst wohne in einer "neuen" (30 Jahre alten) Wohnung im ehemaligen Stall. Ich bezahle alle Essen und Getränke für den Tag. Extras wie Süßigkeiten oder spezielle Getränke musst du selbst kaufen.
  
  Bei der Arbeit essen wir tagsüber zusammen, wenn es so kommt. Die warmen Mahlzeiten (ca. 17:00 oder 18:00 Uhr nach Absprache) nehmen wir gemeinsam in meinem Haus oder draußen auf meiner Terrasse. Ich esse Fleisch (aber nicht viel, nicht jeden Tag und ist kein Muss) und koche auch gut vegetarisch. Die Mahlzeiten (niederländisch, indonesisch, italienisch usw.) sind einfach, aber nahrhaft.

  I live in a little village with about 400 inhabitants. There's no highlife, not even a store, but instead of that a lot of silence en beautiful nature around. It's a quite village with a lot of elderly, so you can not party, turn your radio loud or make a lot of other noise. From my house it's only 50 meters and you are in the middle of nowhere, with wonderfull sights, a lot of feelds and woods with little streams. You can even walk to the Moselle (Moezel), that's 4 km through the woods and vineyards.
  
  In the village is a little barefoot path, with a wood cabin, where you can drink coffee with cake in the weekends. There is a wine farmer, where you can drink and buy a nice Mosel-Wine and a big horse riding school.
  
  I live at the edge of the Hunsrück about 2,5 km (bird flight) from the Mosel (Moezel). At the Mosel it's full of life and very touristic in Summer. Within 20 km you have the most beautiful landscapes of the Vulkan-Eifel aswell. On all sides of the village the landscape is divers, fascinating and surprising (but... no highlife). The nearest village with a supermarket is about 11 km and a village with more stores is Zell or Cochem (at the Mosel), both about 20 km through the mountains (not to do by bike because of the mountains).
  
  Bigger cities along the Mosel are Traben-Trarbach at 30 km. To the south the beautifull city of Trier at 80 km. And in the north Koblenz at 80 km.

  Ich lebe in einem kleinen Dorf mit etwa 400 Einwohnern. Es gibt kein Highlife, nicht einmal einen Laden, dafür aber viel Ruhe und wunderschöne Natur herum. Es ist ein ruhiges Dorf mit vielen älteren Menschen, so du kannst nicht feiern, Radio laut drehen oder Krach machen. Von meinem Haus sind es nur 50 Meter und du befindest dich mitten im Nirgendwo, mit wunderbaren Natur, vielen Feldern und Wäldern mit kleinen Bächen und Ausblicken. Du kannst sogar bis zur Mosel laufen, das sind 4 km durch die Wälder und Weinberge.
  
  Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Barfußweg mit einer Holzhütte, wo man am Wochenende Kaffee mit Kuchen trinken kann. Es gibt einen Winzer, bei dem Sie einen guten Moselwein trinken und kaufen kann, und einen großen Reitstall.
  
  Ich wohne am Rande des Hunsrücks ca. 2,5 km (Vogelflug) von der Mosel entfernt. An der Mosel ist es im Sommer voller Leben und sehr touristisch. Innerhalb von 20 km hast du auch die schönsten Landschaften der Vulkan-Eifel. Zu allen Seiten unseres Dorfes ist die Landschaft abwechslungsreich, faszinierend und überraschend (aber ... kein Highlife). Das nächste Dorf mit einem Supermarkt ist ca. 11 km entfernt und ein Dorf mit mehr Geschäften ist Zell oder Cochem (an der Mosel), beide ca. 20 km durch die Berge (wegen der Berge nicht mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen).
  
  Größere Städte an der Mosel sind Traben-Trarbach in 30 km Entfernung. Im Süden die schöne Stadt Trier in 80 km Entfernung. Und im Norden Koblenz bei 80 km.
