    Description

We Ben (1980) and Katarina (1982) are running a sleddog kennel and a small tourist company in the village of Langfjordbotn.

Langfjordbotn is a remote village in the county Finnmark about 80km away from Alta ,the municipality center of the region, surrounded by the arctic sea and beautiful mountains.

We have two children Ronja and Anved.

Originally from Germany, we moved to Langfjordbotn in 2007 for studies. After a while we fall in love with the place, nature, people and the sleddogs and decided to stay. Since than we started to build up a competitive sleddog team for sleddog races and expeditions. In 2016 we founded our own company. We are offering sleddog expeditions in the mountains of Troms and Finnmark and accommodation for our quests.

Right now we have about 40 sleddogs, 2 horses and 4 chicken at our place 😁

    What else ...

You should be over 23 years old and have a driver-license. We dont have solid working schedules. Working with sleddogs and horses depends on weather and circumstances but we will in the best possible way try to make the schedule as predictable as possible. Unfortunatly we can not allow own pets. No smokers.

We give preference to people who can fluently speak german (since the majority of our guests are german).

We need a person that can stay from September until December.
From January on shorter stays can be considered.
