Area: São PauloHi there! If you're looking for a fun reception job during your long-term vacation, shoot us an email! São Paulo can be an expensive city, if you pay for your stay. So grab your chance, combine fun&work with us! Practice your Portuguese and Spanish, make some local friends, and call this incredible booming megapolis your home-on-the-road! Work 5 days per week, and in return stay with us for free, breakfast included. It'd be nice if you know how to do some light maintenance, but this is not a pre-requisite. Area: South Western BCAre you ready for the adventure of a lifetime in one of the most beautiful wilderness settings not only in Canada, but in the world? We are an established wilderness tourism business and guest ranch located in the sunny South Chilcotin Mountains. You will be expected to work in exchange for your room and board. As an intern, you will have a unique, off the beaten path wilderness experience. This will be a challenging and rewarding adventure, where you will learn and develop professional and personal skills. You will meet adventurers from around the world who have come to work in this exceptional and unique environment. As part of living on a ranch, you will get to join in on our lifestyle. On your time off we offer activities based on availability (western riding, hiking, swimming, skeet shooting, bareback riding, barrel racing, mountain riding, wildlife viewing, lariat throwing, etc.). In the wilderness setting, you'll have the opportunity to grow through the challenges that you overcome each and every day. This philosophy encourages you to identify your interests, which drive your goals. Ultimately, your goals will fuel your purpose both at the ranch and throughout the rest of your life. We need help with many aspects of running this successful guest ranch, from cooks, cleaners, hospitality and office administration, to outside work involving ranch/ equipment maintenance, forestry management, wilderness guiding and much more. Please provide your email address when contacting us! We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Area: New York StateWe are the best of friends who live together and run a 24-hour café in Oneonta, New York. We built our rustic Deli with our own hands, using old rustic barn wood and other recycled materials. We love working together to serve good, wholesome food in a warm, encouraging environment — a haven from the storms of life. Our community is one of a worldwide network of communities, many of which also run cafes, organic farms, and cottage industries where volunteers are also welcome to live and work with us. We all work together in our house and at our café. There is a lot to do in maintaining a community. We have a big house and a café that both need constant care and attention. We enjoy having guests and volunteers who want to get to know us by living and working with us. We gather together every morning and evening to express whatever is on our hearts, to sing and dance, and to give thanks to our Creator before sitting down at the table to share our meals together. Love is our home. You are welcome to come and see... for a day, or to stay!
