Area: New HampshireMy husband and I own a 6 acre farm in a rural community just outside of Concord NH. We have a small organic herb and vegetable garden and sell our produce at a stand in front our house and at the local Farmers Market. We also produce a line of organic baked beans and sell at the markets and special events. We are generally laid back and prefer you choose what you would like to help with as we have a variety of ongoing projects depending on the season, including, but not limited to; rototilling, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, wood and brush clearing, mowing, use of tractor, general maintenance, baking in a commercial kitchen, and set up and selling at farmers markets. We have a hot tub on site and a fire pit for warm/cool evenings, river frontage for swimming, kayaking or canoeing. Our town is rural but the capital of New Hampshire, Concord is 15 minutes away where you would have access to shopping and cultural events. The White Mountains, seacoast and Boston are all within 1.5 hours by car or bus. We really encourage our helpers to explore the area and take full advantage of what our property and surrounding area has to offer!
