Description
Hi! My name is Jaqui and I am Australian. I have quit my job and am travelling through Asia and South/Central America for as long as I can and am looking to have a more immersive, educative and connective travelling experience through workaway.
I studied marketing so have a basic understanding of social media marketing; worked in data entry straight out of university and am also a yoga teacher (500hrs).
I have a basic understanding of Spanish and French and would love to improve upon those skills. I also enjoy cooking (am vegetarian but I promise the food is still delish!) and have experience babysitting/au pairing.

What else ...
I am currently looking for a one week workaway from July 23rd until July 31st in before travelling with my friend, or a three week workaway in Thailand in October before I finally go back to Australia. I have done workaways in a B&B, hostel and coffeehouse and loved all of the experiences, now I am only looking for short stays though. I love animals and kids and am looking for any kind of work while I travel around.

I stayed at the Village for 2 weeks and enjoyed my stay so much. Nao-chan, Kida-san and the girls are such a beautiful family and included myself and the other workawayers in a few fun outings such as to a weekend market and to a small sake festival. Jaqui spent a week at summer camp for kids and teens and was a great volunteer. She was genuinely interested to talk to the campers, which was great for them to practice their English skills and was always happy to participate and organize different activities. She kept track of the camp's points system for some days as well. Thank you Jaqui!

I stayed here for only one week and it went way too quickly! The kids were all fantastic and basically you just chatted to them and did fun activities. The other volunteers were so nice as well and the whole place was beautiful, I would definitely come back here! Thanks Laura and Nikki!

I stayed here for three weeks and it was absolutely fantastic! Cracker and the other workawayers were all lovely, the work is cruisy and the hostel itself is awesome, great common area and kitchen, I would definitely recommend working here :)

This was my first workaway and it could not have been a better experience. I stayed here for two weeks and had a great time, Su, Pete and the kids are absolutely lovely, the work kept you busy so you were done before you knew it and they kept me very well fed! Thank you guys!
