Our village house is at a famous mountain resort Zlatibor. It is very nice hilly area on the way to Montenegro Coast. 300 km and 220 km from Belgrade. We are open minded and family oriented. We traveled a lot through Europe, some Asia and USA and made many good friendships.
Area: Middle America, southwest of St. Louis, MissouriOur family lives on over 60 acres of mostly forested hill country in the Ozark Highland area of Missouri. Here, we have a lake and plenty of space for hiking and a lot of wildlife here and in the area. The lovely local rivers (Meramec, Courtois and Huzzah) are close-by, and America's two largest rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi, are about an hour from here. Rex and Lorian have a business - Rex does landscape gardening and solar power installation, and we teach about solar and natural building. Lorian did homeschool their children (now 14 and 19) and works with the business, as well as working part-time at the local state park. We have a pretty relaxed family with dogs, cats, poultry and a horse. We volunteer with two non-profit organizations, one is through our local State Park, which has a beautiful National Landmark, amazing Onondaga Cave. Our land is rugged and beautiful, but not manicured. We like things to be pretty natural, with fairly minimal impact and footprint, although some sprucing-up is always needed! We offer educational opportunities to others who share our desire to live a more sustainable life. Opportunities include a fusion of natural and alternative building, organic gardening, solar power, and native land renovation. We are looking for interested workawayers to work with us in these areas.

Area: Midi Pyrenees, South West France.Hi, my name is Dorian I'm 48 years old, dual national, half french and half English. I teach Tai Chi Chuan 3 days a week in Toulouse, South West France, where I have been living for the past 24 years. I have just acquired a house in the mountains, the previous owners called it a chalet... but i's not made of wood, it could also be called a "Grange" because they were originally used to keep animals and hay during the winter. The house faces a local (mystical) mountain called the "Cagire" and is a 10 minute drive from the lovely mountain town called Aspet in the French Pyrenees. The nearest town with a train station is called Saint Gaudens situated 15 Km away from Aspet.
Area: Sverige, Värmland, Sunne KommunOur dream: simply good living! Since 2013 we live and work on our farm in beautiful Värmland, in the borderregion between Sweden and Norway. But not only the impressing location on the edge of Finnskogen brought us here, rather our farm is a lifelong self-sustainability-experiment for us! We want to live in and with the nature around us and we want to feel the earth beneath our feet. Here a permaculture-project with animal keeping will be created in the coming few years on approximately 10 acres. The nearby 20-acres forest gives us enough wood for keeping the house warm in winter in a sustainable way and also enough to produce some building material. The Kymsälven flowing over the plot also creates possibilities for the use of renewable energy. Who are we Currently we live as a 3-person-family permanently here on the farm and welcome guests and interested people who want to live and work with us for a few days or for a longer period of time. In addition to our self-sufficiency project we ( Laura 34 , Mark 37) work here as social workers and systemic coaches. Our daughter Nele (3) visits the Swedish kindergarten. We are from Germany and live here since 2013. We speak German , Swedish, English and a little Spanish and French.
