We operate between Marburg and Limburg. The season starts in May and ends in September. But this depends on the weather. Peak time is in August. The Lahn river is quiet flowing and ideal for beginners and familys. You can do an one day tour or up to a six days tour. Along the river are campsites and hotels. When canoes or kayaks are available take for free a kayak or canoe and discover flora and fauna of this water! It is worth it!Area:
We are a family of four: dad Marco, mum Simona, a girl (14) and a boy (7). We spend some time in our city, Catania, and some time in the wood, in the mount Etna, where we have a nice home to repair and renovate, more chestnut, oak, walnut trees to care; there is a lot of work in the garden and in the wood, and much things to do! From may to november we need help on Mount Etna, it's difficult to go everyday to the town, but if you like nature and wood, horticulture and giving help on building construction, it can be a great experience. We also have a farm in the centre of Sicily where sometimes we need some help! Simona is also involved in book conservation, bookbinding art projects, and sometime needs some help with conservation or bookbinding projects.Area: Auckland
We live on a coastal Farm on Waiheke Island, just 10min walk to Owhanake or Oneroa Beaches. We have a modest mudbrick house surrounded by trees, grass, ponds and vege gardens. We have 6 hens and 2 cats. Waiheke Island is gorgeous place, population around 8000 people. We are 35min boat ride from downtown auckland. NZD$32.00 return. Waiheke Island is reknown for its beautiful beaches, vineyards, restaurants and the Art & music community. I am a single parent of 2 children. My son 6 years and daughter 4 years. I manage a Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten, also located on Farm. We eat mostly Organic or locally sourced food. I love cooking wholesome food with fresh ingredience. We do not have a TV, the children are experiencing life for themselves, instead of watching others doing it! :-) I am very busy with my work, the children and keeping the home and garden. I used to travel alot and enjoy hosting travellers. It is great to have some extra help to keep on top of things. It is also nice for the children to meet people from other countries with other cultures and languages. Warning! The children rise early:-)Area: Central Victoria
I am Viv, a 50yo mother of two (son 22 and daughter 20) married to Ian, a motor mechanic and jack of many trades 51 yrs old. I work as an animal attendant at RSPCA part time, my husband also works part time. We are owner builders, but nearly finished. We live on 47 acres where we have numerous domestic and farm animals. I have travelled Europe and my family enjoy interests such as, music & theatre, film, playing instruments and singing, learning languages, animal husbandry, solar living, growing predominantly organic meat, old engines, reading, horse riding, motorbikes, wildlife care, and attempting to reduce our environmental impact. At times, when we holiday, my mum (72 yo) looks after the place and would certainly love having company and some help. She has her own house 10 minutes away and could use some help gardening. Any work done there would be included in the allotted hours..not extra. We laugh alot and do not have strict rules of ettiquette,Area: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Northern Germany)
