Area: Antalya Region / Turkish RivieraI am a 54 years old German woman and I live since 2001 in Manavgat / Side (Turkey) next to the Mediterranean sea. I have 2 dogs and I live in a beautiful holiday park in my own house. And I take care of some cats in the holiday park. Due to my job (self-employed) I have to travel from time to time and I am searching help to take care of my dogs, feeding some cats and for some work in the house also during my absence. I offer food and guestroom in my house for free.

Area: LarisaHi beautiful people, during february and october 2014 I will be farming in a field near Falani village, 10 km from Larisa city. I was volunteering the last years around Europe and I've experienced that many people tried to find a host in Greece and especially in this area without success. So, I invite you to stay here, even if you pass by for some days. The field's size is 4000 m2 with a small house in it, able to host 2-4 people. There are 2 beds and place to put a mat. There is plenty of space outside to put a tent. Water comes from a well, there is no water heater but in spring and summer the pipe water gets warm enough! Otherwise we heat up water and we take showers the asian way(using a bucket). The place can be quite boring -I stay maybe 60% of my time in the area, the rest travelling. There will be an old bike available for going around or to the city(10 km). There is already a garden of around 80 m2 with 7 raised beds planted last year with clover for green mulching. There is no use of chemicals in the field (the neighbour fields use conventional agriculture techniques and poisons though). There are around 30 fruit trees(apple, olive, fig, grapes, berries, pomegranates etc) around 4 years old. I try now to experiment with sowing clover, broad beans and amaranth between the tree rows. Starting in February to plant indoor watermelons, tomatoes, sunflowers etc). almost all seeds used are non hybrid non gmo. Cooking equipment is a 6L gas stove. Depending on the period,it is possible that you stay alone there for some days. If this occurs, using your cooking skills will be beneficial! There is no internet access in the field, in the village is possible to find wifi. My parents and friends visit often the garden. Personally I eat vegetarian, but not a problem the way you eat! Alex
Area: PiemonteWhat we do? We try to enjoy the moments as they are (first of all). Then, now after many previous projects, I am creating the Garden of the Imparmenence. An open and wild garden decorated with art and furniture (mostly rubbish). Something very simple and not pretentious. Artists, musicians, dreamers, seekers, lazy, wanderers, vegetables, and also people that would like to express their creativity are welcome. I don't have idea of what we could do, but is not important. Sometimes I say I, sometimes I say WE because sometimes you could do something or stay with some friends, sometimes everybody disappear (according with weather condition). Also, we are running a media project about our beautiful area. READ PLEASE: Here is relaxed, slow, I and we are travellers and this is a base, doing things when we like to do, we don't know today too much what is going to happen tomorrow. So is hard to plan for your stay here. The best is that you come, for a 5-7 days maximum, you will be our guest, and then we can see what can happen next. Don't write here for arrange your plans months in advance. If you are getting closer, contact us, we also are in Couchsurfing and if we can, we will host you freely. There could be also a possibility that there is nothing to do, no one to meet, the sky is grey, so last but not least, your job will be (not could be), will be to enjoy your time in any conditions. Sometime we can host you in the house with the Garden some other time in house of local friends. P.S. We don't have a farm. We are not a community. We are not an organization.
