Area: Bay of PlentyMy husband & I have 3 adult children no longer living at home. We have hosted school exchange students through AFS in the past and now do support for the students. We have a house by the beach and 30 acres of land further up the coast going inland. This piece of land needs weed control and some fencing. It is our lifestyle block and we run some sheep and cattle on it. There is a lovely little batch on the land and it has a wood stove. It also has a flush toilet, shower with hot water, sleeping and cooking facilities. We stay there from time to time. We live in an old 4bedroom villa which we are still renovating. My husband buys possum fur but is also a builder/handyman. I am a nurse working at the local health centre. I do shift work and sometimes work night duty which means I sleep in the daytime. The internet can be accessed by wireless broadband. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs live outside but the cats like to snuggle up with the humans. We are non smokers and would only want non smokers please. We need help with house maintenance e.g. washing windows, outside of house, indoor house cleaning, gardening, walking dogs and we always have jobs to do on the farm. We would also be happy with some IT learning.

We are not subsidized by the state because the castle is not listed or registered then we must fend for ourselves for our work forward.
Area: Northern CaliforniaOur home is located in Lakeport, CA - a well-kept secret in a little-known wonderful wine-growing and boating community. I am a certified teacher of English to foreign speakers, and so I enjoy opportunities to teach English and to learn other languages - especially French and Spanish. I am reviving a large rock garden, restoring a fountain and cascading water feature, patching and painting the interior and exterior of the cottage and replacing a wood fence this summer. We need help with planning and completing an outdoor backyard retreat for visitors who will come for personal retreats to relax, study, meditate or rejuvenate. There are several areas of the garden where we want to design and create mini sanctuaries for relaxation or just "being." We especially need workers who are somewhat creative as this is not just about labor. If you love designing a garden or just want to help by weeding and planting that would be lovely. A minimum stay of 5-10 days would assure that projects are completed. Work-awayers are invited to participate with us in weekend outings which are mostly wine-tasting, theater, boating and hiking. The town of Lakeport has very limited public transportation. A drivers license would be helpful but not necessary. There are bicycles available for cruising around town. Musicians are also welcome. We have an old baby grand piano, a guitar, and a cello available . And if you like to sing - that's okay too!. Visitors will enjoy that the place is within walking distance of the center of town which has a coffee shop, cafes, bars, a used bookstore and other small shops. Wi-Fi internet access is available. Massage, acupuncture and yoga or Pilates classes are all provided at locations within walking distance.
Area: ConnachtMyself and my three year old daughter are living in Galway city, 15 minutes walk to the city centre. We have a two bedroomed house in a quiet area called Shantalla. I study part time as an antenatal teacher and breastfeeding counselor and am at home with my daughter the rest of the time. Galway is a beautiful city and I love being so close to the centre and close to the sea at the same time. The house is nice and warm and the room available is a nice size with a double bed. There is a large back garden too. I am looking for a female to do childminding with my daughter while I study or work.
