We live in a small village and we have six rooms to rent to our guests.We are giving our rooms as bed and breakfast. If the guest would like to have dinner we are serving it also. Also we are renting one of our house as self catering if requested. Our place is 700 meters above sea level. Our place lies in a cool valley under the ancient Lycian site -Cadianda- and is surrounded by thick pine forests fed by mountain streams tumbling down the rugged hillsides. This is an ideal location for someone who wants the enchantment of rural life but also the opportunity to visit the pretty harbour town of Fethiye and Calis Beach, just 20 minutes drive away; with Oludeniz and Dalaman airport also within easy reach. Access to the main resorts is easy, by car, dolmus or taxi. Journey time to/from Fethiye is approx. 20 minutes by car in addition to a regular bus service. Our place is almost 4km away from the village, we can provide a bike to reach the village. Otherwise it needs about 40 minutes walk.We live in the forest, where there is no bars or shops, so please beware of this, if you are a city person.

We are a British couple living at the edge of a forest village in the mountains, 12 km South of Yalova, which is reached by boat from Istanbul. We have started to create an Organic smallholding, and aim to create a sustainable way of living. You are welcome to take part in our work, to experience living in a small village and to join in with what's going on at the time.. It's a beautifully quiet rural area, close to Termal, the geothermal spa, and also remarkably accessible from the city. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens; we're a no-smoking household.

My name is Ömer, I am married with Evren for eight years and have two daughters. Idil is 4 and Ilke is 7 years old. Evren studied Economics and works as Project manager at CIGNA insurance company. I am Computer Engineer and work for HSBC Bank IT Department as IT Manager. We founded Waldorf initiative in Istanbul in 2008 and I had Waldorf teachers training for two years with my 20 friends. In 2011 September we founded parent initiative Waldorf inspired kindergarten. We are looking volunteers for our non-profit and social project kindergarten. We have founded Association to be legal body. We are organizing Waldorf workshops for parents. Kindergarten is in Cekmekoy, Istanbul. We live in Istanbul (Beykoz distinct, 15 km to City). We love outdoor sports and active member of Anatolian Mountaineering Club as Vice president. We love hiking, biking and camping, we go together with children. We have been hosting people for 10 years as active members of Servas. We were executives in Servas International. We are first Waldorf inspired kindergarten in Turkey founded by Waldorf inspired parents. Our Kindergarten is open Monday to Friday from 9am till 5pm. Kindergarten is next to forest and children go to Forest almost everyday. Our Lead Waldorf teacher is Hasret, She born in Germany, She worked in Waldorf kindergarden in Hamburg for 10 years. She speaks German, Turkish, Arabic and English. Our Assistant kindergarten teacher is Turkish and speaks Turkish. My wife Ebru and I (Aydin) run an Eco Camp offering Yoga, Organic Farming, Art Work-shops, Trekking and Sea Activities. I am a Painter, photographer who is the member of UNESCO. My wife is an architect and we are both Yoga teachers (Indian Yoga Istitute of Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana). Our garden and lands serified by NOP CERT Organic Certification Group. Our place, is a restored old stone house and surrounding grounds in a modest and remote area of the Ancient Lycian Way. We are located in a Village which has an altitude of 500 meters and is within the Ancient Lycian Site of Phellos. Our place is a 15 minute drive to the sea in our nearest town of Kas. Kas is set upon a hillside in the Southern region of Turkey in the district of Antalya. The town is famous for it's ancient Lycian history and today boasts a small but lively fishing, yachting and tourist town. During peak season, when we have guests, we normally conduct a weekly program that runs from Sunday through to Saturday afternoon, where there are a variety of different activities, for example, one day we may base our focus in the Art-Workshop and another may be devoted to Cultural Hiking. We usually like to go swimming in the sea after our programs. Our days start with morning Yoga, and should the Guests and / or Volunteers be interested they are more than welcome to join in. (However, during this time, someone will be required to prepare the breakfast and help to organise the garden dining area where breakfast is served. Like with other activities, our Volunteers tend to work on a rotation basis, thus allowing everyone a chance to participate.) We are happy to include you on our hiking, yoga, sea activities and art workshops on your time/day off (while this time you can discover Kas and the neighbouring sights), However during the times when we do not have guests we regret that these cannot always be possible. We remain at all times a working Eco Farm and therefore the general running and maintainance of the camp must always take priority. Here, we all work as a team. Volunteers will be expected to assist us with gardening, hoeing, plantinig vegetable-sapling, harvesting-pruning vagetable, grape,olives, almonds.. making vineger, olives, organising woods - rocks, building, cleaning and helping around the house etc.. whatever need in the garden; work is varied.. Normally we have a work schedule every day (that starts at 7:40 with breakfast / 8:20 in summer). We need this to make sure that all things have some order and there is no chaos. During peak season there might be busy around (volunteers and guests) so having a schedule keeps everyone happy. Our work is about 5.45 to 6 hours a day. There is one day off after work 6 days a week. During your day off, you can also visit Kas and the neighbouring sights. Kas is accessible by shuttle in 15 minutes, though volunteers will need to walk 1 km to the bus stop. We have all our meals together. Our food are mostly vegetarian . We offer volunteers 3 meals per day and a share room with bed separate toilet and shower facilities.(couples stay on their own room if we have room and sometimes volunteer stay in a tent only if we be so crowed ), We are serving the same food that we normally eat and we can offer what's on the table; We do not preper/serv privatly gluten-free, raw food and vegan diet meals but If you have specific food requirements you are welcome to purchase these in town and store them in our fridge (Please do not buy items for which you need the kitchen to prepare.). We conduct a non-smoking, no-drugs place, and welcome volunteers who respect and appreciate our way of life here. A TYPICAL DAY OF WORK: Work is varied depending on the seasons and the weather.. Normally volunteers will be expected to assist us with gardening, hoeing, plantinig vegetable-sapling, harvesting-pruning vagetable, grape,olives, almonds.. making vineger, olives, organising woods - rocks, building, cleaning and helping around the house etc.. whatever need in the garden;. A TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE (it can change for summer-winter timing): Breakfast : 08.00 - 08.30 Work : 09.00 - 12.00 Lunch : 12.00 -12.45 Work : 13.15- 16.15 WHAT SOULD I BRING? Bring your own towel, slipper, simple cloths for working & glove, torch/flashlight, bathing suit, treckking/strong shoes, had, t-shirts, shorts, sun cream, sleeping bag,.. something as a jumper-sweater for chilly/cold evening, raincoat in the Autmn and Spring period..
