Area: Brandenburg

Hi, we are Rike and Henning and we are running a house where some families and/or single persons live permanent and some only from time to time. We also have an almost two year old daughter, Freya. As we just started this project in the end of 2011, there´s of course still a lot to do. Any help is welcome with the garden, fruit trees, building the pottery and workshop, all kinds of jobs around the buildings. Help in house and kitchen or being nanny for our daughter will also be welcome. We live in a quiet and remote area in the North of Germany, between Berlin and the Baltic Sea in beautiful countryside full of hills and lakes. Languages spoken are English and German. We like to help you learn German, as far as this can be involved into the other activities. And we love to meet new people from all over the world. You can also learn treeclimbing, go kayaking on one of the endless number of lakes around, do cycling trips or just sit at the firepit in the evenings under a nice starfield far away from any city lights. As we are frequently going to Berlin you dont even need to miss this:) Rike is a potter and Henning works as an industrial climber and arborist, mainly in Berlin. We would be happy to hear from you!

Area: Hessen / Lahn-Dill-Kreis

We operate between Marburg and Limburg. The season starts in May and ends in September. But this depends on the weather. Peak time is in August. The Lahn river is quiet flowing and ideal for beginners and familys. You can do an one day tour or up to a six days tour. Along the river are campsites and hotels. When canoes or kayaks are available take for free a kayak or canoe and discover flora and fauna of this water! It is worth it!

Area: NRW

Hi, we are two families living and working on an organic farm. The farm is located in western Germany near the cities Cologne (about 40 km), Düsseldorf (30 km) and Wuppertal (10 km). We are on this farm since February 2010 and still developing it in a way we would like to live and work here. On our farm there are some chicken, 20 cows, 12 pigs, 2 donkeys. From spring on we will plant vegetables, too. We are selling our products by our own delivery service and in a cafe located on the farm.

Hello and welcome on our profile You are interested in visiting Germany? You want to stay with a nice unique family in the middle of Germany? You are friendly, non smoker and your mother language is English? Welcome in our home !!! We are Elena (45) and Dieter (57) and our kids Maik (13) and Alice (10 ) and our friendly dog Fina. We live in Lohfeld, close to Porta Westfalica in North Rhine Westphalia. The next big cities are Minden, Bielefeld and Hannover where you could go by train or bus. The nearest airports are Hannover or Dortmund. We want a couple or single person to improve our English and to support our children to learn your language. You can help us in our big garden or house – there is always something to do ... Dieter drives regularly to the big city’s in Germany Hamburg, Berlin, Dortmund – so if there is time and you are interested you can drive with him to see some different areas of Germany. We ask you work five hours a day in return for food and accommodation. Our English is not the best :-) That is the main reason why we are looking for “help”. You will be a part of our family – talking, cooking, eating and laughing together.
