. just about booked out for the year now please check with me as only a few weeks here and there are left unless i get a cancellation i hope this helps you plan your trips ,We can handle up to 2 persons , we run a family Bait & tackle bussines, in a small sea side town 40mins south of Byron Bay, we have river at the back door and short walk to the surf beach , 2 min walk to centre of town, good fishing and surf to be had. Have tennis courts over the road from house, now have 3 surf boards and 2 push bikes for you to use plus fishing rods .now have 1 kayak for you to use in the river

I live alone in a very peaceful and beautiful environment on the Georges river in the south of Sydney. 25 minutes from the city and 25 minutes from the beach. I enjoy meditating, playing guitar, writing songs, growing plants, watching some nature docco's and movies, reading and hanging out with my friends...life is good and I love what I do. I was a musician for 14 years and now enjoy running a small gardening business. I have a son who lives in Newtown (an inner Sydney suburb) and he is in a few bands playing saxophone.

Situated just half an hour from the sparkling beaches of Port Macquarie rests our charming property set across 24 acres of lush valley lands. On its way to being self-contained with rainwater for all drinking, washing and gardening needs, composting toilet and solar water heating we need your help to further harmonise our home with the environment and create the ultimate haven away from the technocratic world. The house itself sits at the highest point of the property and views beautiful rolling green hills and stunning skies. When we purchased the property in 2004 it was obvious that it had originally been built to blend with its surrounds with its majority timber construction but it was also only partially completed. Since then we have been working to improve its structure, landscape areas around the house and imbue it with an inviting atmosphere for those who wish to visit. Currently we have growing a handful of fruiting trees such as mango, banana, avocado, macadamia and mulberry. We are often experimenting with growing seeds straight from the vegetables we eat and mostly with success. We would also like to set up organic fruit and vegetable patches. We dream of a day we never have to buy our fresh produce again. For an idea on what you might be working on with us: 1. Improving landscaping around the house with stone walls, bright and aromatic flora and inviting garden pathways 2. Planting little vegetable and fruit crops 3. Re-decking and extending balconies 4. Outdoor furniture construction with recycled timber 5. General house maintenance Each day we would appreciate 5-6 hours of work and in return we offer bedding, food for each meal daily. Happy to consider dietary requirements. Living here: • Peter - owner of the property, easy-going, savvy with all things technical and electrical • Lewis - one of three sons of Peter, works as a joiner, great know-how with construction, imaginative home chef and rock climber • Charlotte - one of three daughters of Peter, main organiser with tasks, creative and crafty, loves gardening ACCOMMODATION We are able to accommodate 1-2 people. We can only guarantee a two week maximum stay. An extension upon your stay may be considered. POINTS OF INTEREST We have fast wifi. We have a small library for the readers and eager English learners. A spa by the house to enjoy fresh star-filled evenings. We are happy to take you in to Port Macquarie where there are a number of beaches to choose from. Sydney is only 4 hours drive away. We are Todd (33) and Wiebke (30) and we live on 20 acres outside of Toowoomba (2hrs from Brisbane). We have two horses. And we also have a border collie named Pebbles. I work as a photographer and accountancy and Todd is an aircraft engineer and works on helicopters. Todd is Australian and I am German. We have both travelled a lot through Europe, South East Asia and Australia and we know how great it is to see a bit of the local life instead of one backpacker after the other. We now have an avocado and garlic farm so you would help us around the farm, ( weeding, planting, picking etc ), around the house and help looking after our animals. If you are a confident rider you could also help train our horses, natural horsemanship style. We are currently looking for a helper for May and June. Looking forward to hearing from you.

We have a campsite and rental cabins located near Cape Otway in an area of magnificent forests, spectacular coastline, beaches and secluded bays. It is sheltered among tall manna gums far away from the wearing noise of towns and traffic. You'll hear Kookaburras, Rosellas, Magpies, Blue Wrens, Robins and the carolling Shrike-Thrush.
