Area: Poitou CharentesWe live on a large farm in France, I have two children in their 20s and my father who lives with me. We have a small cattery and we take dogs into our home when people go on holiday. We have 20 rescued cats and 2 rescued dogs. We have many chickens, ducks and geese and are about to get some goats. Our farm needs lots of work inside and out and would love to have some happy workers come and give us a hand.

Moreover there is Honey, the wonderful dog, the Cats Strudel and Naps, a few sheep, lots of rabbits, a few ducks, chicken and quails. We have been part of workaway ourselves and started becoming Hosts in 2011 and had absolutely fantastic helpers since that time. Now, after our son is born we have lots of work around the house and in the garden again so we would love to have a volunteer or a couple here again. Dani is pregnant, and we are wainting for our second son in October to be born. We like to share our home and our lifestyle with people from all over the world, like to make friends and spend a good time together. It would be fantastic to have somebody here who wants to stay for a long period from september or November on and share the life with us, learn the language, ...... Uncomplicated short term stays ( 3-4 weeks) accepted as well. We have with some friends a lakeside property with a few fishponds. The type of work depends mostly on your skills and if you are willing to learn new things. We are happy to share our knowledge with you and you should be able to do the same. Area: Languedoc RoussillonTerry and I (Sue) moved to France 10 years ago and live deep in the beautiful Aude countryside with open views to the Pyrenees in a converted stone barn (all our own work). We have also renovated the original fermette which we use as family holiday accommodation and as a gite. We love the outdoor life and regularly walk the Pyrennean foothills along with our lovely chocolate labrador, Freddie. We have about 2 acres of grounds, including a lovely swimming pool.
Area: Varanasi, Uttar PradeshWe are a young backpacker hostel in Varanasi, commercially launched on 1st March, 2014, founded by a traveller couple with an aim of revolutionising travel across India by setting up the first ever chain of social and exploration oriented travellers hostels across the country. We are currently in the process of setting up our next two hostels in New Delhi and Jaipur, and then, soon expanding to over 30 locations within the next 3 years. We are inviting travellers to be a part of this exciting journey by interning with us, helping us make the place even more fun than it already is. Area: YucatánHello, and welcome to our permaculture proyect We are in development of a permaculture learning centre in the heart of the Yucatán peninsula. As of February 2014, we are working as a family farm, we strive to produce as much of our food in the vegetable garden and food forest (both in very promising, early phases). Some of our activties include: Jungle agroforestry - forest and edible species in a food forest Habitat regeneration/conservation - reforestation, protection of wildlife Organic/regenerative horticulture Free range poultry - chickens, ducks, geese Beekeeping - traditional and endemic "melipona" or stingless bees Eco-building - earth, wood, stone, vines, recycled materials, etc. Arts and crafts from natural materials Courses - sustainability, permaculture, construction, healing, etc. We are also working on a project to help regenerate and preserve the Yucatán jungle around us.
