A professional freelancing theatre in the countryside: about 25 km away from hannover, hildesheim and hameln we live and work in a former children's home near a village of about 3.000 inhabitants. we are a family of five: suse (*1966, actress and director), fabian (*1971, scenic designer and carpenter) and three children (*1998, *2000 and *2006). with us are our grandma (*1925), a dog, two rabbits, two rats, two sheep. besides our work at the theatre with changing fellow collegues, we try to take possession of our huge ground and the adjoining buildings. we offer a cosy place in a wooden cabin in the garden, vegetarian food and an open-hearted, uncommon family life.

***We cannot make plans more than two months in advance at this time.*** Our Garden is located in Northern Cyprus. It's currently a nonprofit garden located in Girne (aka Kyrenia) that organically grows a wide variety of food plants ranging from kale to quinoa, corn to cabbages, etc. We have citrus and olive trees throughout the property. We also raise chickens, ducks, bunnies, and dogs. In the Spring, we'd like to start a few projects, including the following: -A large pond (which will include aquatic life & be used to grow water plants that add beauty/food sources) -A Mushroom Growing Area -Bee Keeping -More Integrated Composting Systems & Possibly Collection of Municipal Organic Waste and/or Recyclable Items. My name is RayChel & I am the person heading this project. We're looking for people to come to help us with everyday work in the Garden & help us develop our 2013 goals. This would mean that duties could change on a daily/weekly basis. Speaking/Reading English is priority. We are looking for to short-term and long-term Volunteers for immediate work at the Garden. Most Foreigners can stay up to 3 months without a visa, but the rules are different for Citizens of Specific Countries sometimes ranging from 15-30 days. We cannot make plans more than two months in advance at this time. We currently have 1 volunteer and three employees.

We are early retired teacher/lecturers and have owned our Spanish home for sixteen years. We renovated the Cortijo for two years and created a beautiful garden with terraces. Beyond we have olives, almonds, nisbros, figs, orange and lemon trees. We have family in the UK and they love to visit. Our area is in the countryside of La Axarquia. and it is tranquil but also busy with farmers working the land. There are rolling hills of olive and almond trees. We have views to the mountain of La Maroma and to the mountain top village of Comares. Riogordo which is typical white washed village is four kilometres away. Nature is wonderful here and yet we are less than thirty minutes from the coast. In the UK we ran English Language and Art courses in the summer and here we rent our Cortijo mainly in the high season. We need to cut down cactus, complete fence posts, build a wall, paint part of the Cortijo walls and doors. Looking forward to hearing from you.
