We have three young children and both my husband and I work outside the family home. I am an Osteopath and my husband is a vet. We live on 5 acres in the heart of the Yarra Valley tourist region, 1 hour from melbourne city. We have a beautiful home with a large flower, native and vegitable patch. Animals are a large part of our home, dogs, cats, horse and chickens. We are a very welcoming family who love meeting people from all over the world.

Summary: Our project is a "new" ecovillage on Ilha das Couves and we are seeking environmentally minded volunteers to help with all services involved with creating and operating a sustainable community - from bottom up. The coastal area of Sao Paulo is beautiful and part of the original mata atlantic rainforest - a highly visable and valuable earth resource. We will be planting a permaculture organic farm, clearing an eco trail system and setting up bamboo geo domes to accommodate overnight guests. Our plan is to offer educational and spiritual empowerment training programs to small groups and corporate envirnomental retreats. This opportunity has started and will continue year round. Short term and long term assignments available. Our organization is a registered Brasilian non profit. We are ready, willing and able to help you learn and grow. Brasil requires most countries to issue a tourism visa before traveling. Please check to verify what your requirements are before traveling. Note: We do not supply insurance. You can get insurance policy as necessary from private providers. Your assistance is greatly needed and appreciated. This opportunity is a great cultural exchange and unique living experience. We are spiritually minded people and value each persons contribution. We will be charging a small daily fee of 10$US per person. Funds will go towards a capital campaign to make infrastructure improvements and green utility system investments. Food and other living expenses will be shared equally. We try to keep food expenses around 15 reais per day..this includes three healthy meals each day will fresh fish, fruits, veggies, nuts etc..We have plenty of coconuts and bananas already growing and will start producing much more produce in the coming months. The boat trip to the island costs 40$ reais round trip. Please bring your own sleeping bag or linen. Also remember a towel and all personal items to make your stay comfortable.

I have my own bungalows on a small organic farm in rural Chiang Mai and am happy to share the experience of organic farming and sustainable living with anybody who is interested in volunteering to help! I'm still new to organic farming and would appreciate any help and experience that people can provide. Volunteers with experience in organic farming are preferred as then we can share our knowledge and learn together! I also assign a volunteers to help local people's farms follow the seasons. I also run a non-profit volunteer working programme providing opportunities for teaching English in local hill tribes schools and offering medical help to ethnic minority villagers. I was born in Mae Jeam district and spent almost eight years in the temple as a novice monk before going on to study for a BA in Tourism Industry Management. Our Artfarm is a art dream in progress. It is hoped that in the future it will be a centre for art/film/music/workshops/classes and residencies for anybody with a dream of using their creativity in some way. Some day classes have already been run here including woodcarving and mosaic classes which were a great success. The dream is a work in progress with the ongoing restoration of house, outhouses and haybarn as studio space and organic veg plot slowly expanding. This creative space is in a rural setting in east Galway, 35 miles from Galway city, 15 miles from Roscommon town. It has a minimal footprint ethos with a great respect and love for the space and all its ecosystem. It is hoped that this centre can be a place where the local community both young and old are made welcome and where visiting workshop participants and artists can feel at home. It is hoped this place can be eco rather than ego driven. Anyone with an interest in art and environment is welcome here.

Our hostel is located in the heart of the city, actually in the historic center, where all the student and youth people from different nationalities are , were all the art, culture, history, and above all fun. And all within walking distance ... Our place is basically a hostel, and on the first floor works as bough Bed and Breakfast. We have 3 private rooms and 4 bedrooms, plus a restaurant and terrace. For us the most important thing is to spread tourism and facilitate the way to go.
