Hello Workawayers,

Here in Mallorca, we are cultivating a natural space with happiness and enthusiasm. Real laughter as well as deep concentration and flexability are the most important tools in this eco-environment.

There are no classes here, no fixed program, but rather lots of little projects you can try out. It's important to observe, listen very well & follow, often without specific instructions. You will get the feel of it, if you are really interested and you can consult with us about any aspect of our experiment.

There can be 2 or 3 permanent residents living here.
Within the workaway program, we invite 1 or 2 volunteers at a time.

Please let us know if you have any experience in woofing, free style carpentry and/or body awareness.

The idea is to understand by doing ... experimenting with vegetable gardens, flowers and trees, recycling, learning from each other, sharing, working alone, ecological construction, food preparation, cleaning up ... all these as pleasurable & creative activities.

You can visit in exchange for helping out, and possibly stay on.

By the the way, we are looking for 1 or 2 individuals to join
our project on a more permanent basis.
This is something we can talk about after you arrive
and see how it feels.

* To start with,
the minimum workaway visit here is 14 days
Within that visit, we can talk about the possibilities for
staying on longer than 2 weeks.

Our experience is that :

1. In the first week,
you will begin to get a feel of what is going on here ... and

2. By the 2nd week, you will be able contribute something of real
value both to yourself and the project.

* Breakfast at leisure / morning free
(or work on an individual activity)

* 12h we meet to clarify & share little jobs

* 15h prepare meal

*16:30h clean kitchen

*17:00h -17:30 siesta or free time

*17:30/18-21 afternoon gardening
or creative building projects

*21:30/22h shared or individual - snack time
- browse books or videos on permaculture -
and/or an excursion to a local fiesta.

COST OF FOOD & CONSUMIBLES IS SHARED
@ 6 euros per person/per day.

Those of us who live here permanently earn nothing here.
This is a shared project (both energetically and economically).
For 14 days we offer free, what we pay in costs for land & house rental, water, electricity, fertilizers, seeds, furniture, project materials etc. and share with invited guest volunteers our
'learning laboratory' & 'live school without walls'.

We will ask you to participate in shopping, help in the preparation & cost of food (+ all other consumibles @6 euros per person/per day, every day - including sundays, arrival & departure days). Each & all of us share this food & other consumibles freely, including what we grow !

Here's a little bit of our history ...
what inspired this project
here in Mallorca ...

In Capilla del Monte; a village of musicians, artists and like minded individuals ... located in the hills of Córdoba, Argentina,
I connected with an inspiring project ...

These generous individuals shared with me their books and good advice on 'permaculture', which is basically a practice of 'total ecology'. Perhaps it is posible to integrate more with our universe by connecting with and caring for 'mother earth' ... her plants and some of the other creatures with whom we share this planet.

Aqui un poco de la historia sobre que ha inspirado nuestro proyecto en Mallorca ...

En mi vivencia en Capilla del Monte, Cordoba Sierras, Argentina, he conectado con un centro de permacultura. Me han pasado libros importantes y algunas prácticas de permacultura: una forma de ecología total, integrando el amor de las plantas, la tierra (pacha mama), los seres humanos y todos los bichos con quien compartimos este planeta.
La idea es entender ... haciendo ... experimentando en la huerta biológica y construyendo con materiales naturales y reciclados.

Este centro de premacultura me inspiró para iniciar proyectos en la finca donde vivo y compartir con otros de corazón y alegría el reír y profundizar nuestra conectividad con la naturaleza ... aprendiendo uno del otro.

This project is a miniature learning laboratory, a live-in adventure for a few motivated individuals who can be comfortable working alone and/or sharing with others.

Here, we work and learn with intensity and enjoyment.
Instead of tourism, our focus is musical ecology, human warmth & permaculture. Although you will have some time in the morning and evening to go to town, we invite you to spend as much time as possible here on the farm ... exploring ...

This is not a couch surf, social network, tourist facility or even exactly a 'work exchange'. It is more an experiment in 'be here now' community. For those who stay on, it can be a shared home for like minded individuals or couples.

If you wish to see the whole island, it's best to schedule that part of your tour before or after your visit to our project. we live outside the tourism game (backstage) in our own natural fantasy.

The activities you might be invited to participate in are ….
live music, dance, yoga, arts, crafts, gardening, ecological construction, conversation, food preparation, cleaning house,
general maintainence, relaxation, body awareness, human warmth and silence ... Yes, you can Relax & Enjoy !

We all clean up & maintain all spaces that we use (including kitchen & bathroom) with a generous attitude. (be prepared to give & and receive a little bit more)

Your personal connection/involvement in what you are doing is very important to us. We will ask for a minimum of 5 hrs per day, 6 days a week of your focused energy. Please be flexible & follow our suggestions ... You may discover that life is much more interesting when you and everyone around you is alert, alive & available ... helping out with almost anything, anytime, if necessary.
When you do work that really interests you, it becomes play,
time disappears and you can ... Relax in Action !

In the rustic area of Santa Maria/Consell, Mallorca, you can share an eco farm of 2000m with palm trees, solar energy, wind power, well water, pools with fish and plants, views of the mountains and ecological projects.

Here you can walk & bike on paths and country roads from one town to the other. It's green and tranquil.

To live permanently here, it's better to have a motorbike or a car, but we do have a few bicycles. There is a bus@1 km and a train@4km from the farm, which connects us with palma.

Please don’t bring any pets (you can pet our pets, if you like).

We are non-smokers, but you can smoke outside.

This is not just a convenient place for a vacation. To fully enjoy this musical environment, it's important that you are really interested in ecology, permaculture, waking up your body, improving your personal communication and sharing human warmth ...

* We don't offer internet, but there is a library nearby where you can do your stuff for free. Also you can use your mobil connection if you have a smartfone or plug in.

Este finca es un laboratorio de aprenticaje, un aventura vivencial para individuos motivados, que quieren/pueden trabajar en solitario y/o compartiendo con otros.

Aqui, trabajamos & aprendemos con intensidad y alegria. En vez de turismo, nuestro enfoque es ecologia, calor humano & 'permacultura'.

Aqui no hay ni clases ni un programa fijo, pero varios proyectos pequenos a probar. Por eso, es importante observar, escuchar muy atentamente y seguir lo que esta pasando, muchas veces sin ningun instrucciones especificos. Si tienes ganas verdederas, te vas a captar la intencion. Su conexion personal a lo que haces es muy importante a nosotros.

Los actividades que puedes estar invitado
a compartir son los siguientes:
Música en vivo, danza, yoga, arte, artesanía, limpieza de la casa, la compra y preparacion de la comida, construccion ecologica
con materiales naturales/recyclidos, conversación, tranquilidad, silencio ...

En la zona rústica de Santa María/Consell, Mallorca, España
puedes compartir una finca eco de 2000m ... energía solar, rodeada de palmeras, un molino, agua de pozo, piscina con peces y plantas, montañas, una huerta, y proyectos variados ecológicos en marcha.

Los espacios y vistas aquí son totalmente abiertas a quien sea, se puede llegar a pie, en bici o a caballo entre caminos de tierra de un pueblo a otro. La zona es muy verde y tranquila pero cerca de la Universidad (UIB) y Palma.
- Para vivir bien aquí, es mejor tener moto o coche.
- Por favor no traiga mascot@s
- Nosotros no fumamos pero si eres fumador
lo puedes hacer afuera
- Dentro del programa workaway, se invita voluntarios para
un estancia de un minimo de 14 dias.
Es posible de prorogar su visita
y eso es algo que ponemos hablar una vez que has
llegado y sentido el ambiente.
- Ahora somos 2 y buscamos 1 o 2 más
para vivir aqui en plan mas permanente.
- Pedimos que los voluntarios participen en los gastos de la
comida y consumibles (6 euros al dia por persona)
- Por favor de llevar su propio sabana o saco de dormir.

Also, there is lots of common space both inside & out.

To get here
from the airport or ferry terminal, you can take a local bus to plaza espanya.
there, down stairs, you will find a train
purchase your ticket to 'estacion consell/alaro'
its about a 20 min ... a lovely ride through the countryside ...
which costs about 2 euros.

last train of the day is at 22h

if you call us on your mob fone
(if not, there are public fones outside)
just before you get on the train
we can come and pick you up
at the bus stop in the consell/alaro train station
any time after 13h.
if you dont have a mob, you can
call us from the station at plaza espanya
and indicate your time of arrival in consell.
we can pick you up from the bus stop at the consell train station.

If you arrive too late for the bus or train, there are taxis from the airport @ +-35 euros or we can arrange for someone to pick you up at the airport (25 euros).
