I'm living in the german speaking part of Switzerland in Schiers. It is near Klosters and Davos, a well known part of Switzerland. Here a have a big wooden house with 8 rooms. At the moment - for about 2 months - 2 rooms with a separat bath room are free. Therefore I thought that one or two people could live here for this time and help me a little bit.
About me - I'm Agnes, a 60 years old woman, open minded. Christina, 48 years, is living in the house as well and we have 3 cats and a little dog.
We're a small backpackers hostel overlooking the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes and surrounded by trees, fresh air and wildlife. We're open each year from May until late October and just down the road from the start of the Cabot Trail. If you enjoy being active, we are close by to hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming and beaches. Workawayers are welcome to help with landscaping, housekeeping, renovations and building projects, website optimization, helping travellers, answering phones etc . We host hundreds of international backpackers each season and invite you to be part of this great place! Late afternoon and night is left for BBQ's, reading in the hammocks, campfires, and music. Please contact at least a few days before as we only have room for 1-2 workawayers at a time and we don't want to disappoint. Time of stay is flexible but I prefer a minimum of 3 days. Special consideration is given to those with carpentry, building and electrical skills as we are hoping to build a couple cabins from recycled barn wood and run by solar power. Talk to you soon!
