Description
Me (64) and a friend, we share a house (spatially divided) where we live a modestly life, apart from a village in the countryside in nice scenery, next to the wood. With us live some gooses, ducks, chickens and cats.
Located in the ancient city of LINZ I’m running a fine shop with exclusive handmade jewellery (also from my own workshop) and rarefied scarfs.
For your request, please manifest your intended duration of stay together with the date.

I am going to Linz some times a week- a good chance for you, to depart from the countryside.
Interested parties can acquire about gardening and how to use, to process, to manufacture and to eat, what is available in the garden or on the meadow.
Furthermore, I am always pleased to delve into new spheres with you in many topics -and therefrom benefit from you

Support with general tasks to maintain a house, a garden and my lovely poultry.
Help is variable and depends to the season, to the weather, to our atmosphere....
To get my wild garden a bit under control, manual and gardening skills required. You should be able to use simple tools.

On weekdays, time management to your arrangement.

Hébergement
Accommodation is 1room for your own, with 1 big bed and good, new bedding. Wooden furnitures (No IKEA!).
I offer (organic) homemade, fresh, vegetarian meals. Fruits, vegetables, eggs....from our own mini-farm. Milk products from an organic farm nearby.
My food is mostly vegetarian.
Consideration for nutritition intolerances, religious and ethical reasons.
In addition to that, there is no extra cooking, nor self cooking for guests.
Zero food waste :-)

Here we are in a hilly, quiet landscape, you can enjoy nature pure from the doorstep by walking, hiking, biking.....
The famous Danube cycle path also close-by.
You can be a companion for hikes in the mountains. Or for visiting theater, museum.....

I stayed with Waltraud and Franz about one week and was sorry I could not have stayed longer. Thanks to them I got to know the places which I had no idea about before, e.g. concentration camp Mauthausen. Waltraud and Franz are wonderful, pleasant, intelligent hosts, with very interesting Lebensgeschichte. Friendly, welcoming, sincere.. I enjoyed the fruitfull discussions we had together. I think I owe Waltraud and Franz a lot, and am very thankful for having a chance to get to know them. Time here was very prescious to me. Very recommended place:)
