Description
We (myself, my husband, three local employees and our children of 7, 13 and 16 years old) run a small ecological family farm, a so-called “chakra”, in Uruguay, near Montevideo. We grow a great variety of vegetables and fruits, which we sell at the local organic market in Montevideo and shops specialising in organic products. We also have chicken, several dogs and cats.
We are looking for open-minded, easy-going and flexible persons, who like being around people and to bring in their own ideas. We offer a beautiful location, an insight in our farming and a friendly atmosphere. You will be a part of the family.

I spent an amazing month with this family and was able to participate in all parts of the farm- planting, weeding, harvesting, market, and leaned a ton with the whole family!
