We own a beautiful B & B in Quarante. The house dates from 1771 and is in the center of a pretty French village with shops and bars. Buses to anywhere in Herault, via Beziers, are cheap and regular. Walking, cycling and nature are great local activities. There is a thriving foreign community in the village. We have 5 rooms available for our B&B guests and we also provide evening meals when required.
Our national community-based organization, working for sustainable human development its based on three pillars: organic farming, eco construction, and faire trade. Our focus is on working with vulnerable communities in Buenos Aires, trying to fortify their local identity and rescue their roots and tradition.
My husband and I are retired dentists and we live on a small farm in a very beautiful area. We have a few rare breed sheep and about 10acres of land. We also have a horse and a dog. We have recently moved into our newly built house which is down by the lochside (Loch Awe).
We live two miles from Kilchrenan which is a small village that is home to multiple workaway-hosts. Kilchrenan is visited frequently by tourists because of the great leisure activities in the area such as walking, climbing, cycling and fishing.
We are a very open minded and relaxed family of four living in a house with seven other students.
We enjoy our big garden very much.
We are in the center of a historical University town surrounded by five hundred years old buildings, like the castle on the top of the hill and many old houses all around.
The river, the forest, but also the the medieval center of the city with the shops are in walking distance. We are next to the oldest protestant University in Germany with 25 thousand students. The atmosphere in the city is very young and lively. There is a lot of culture, but also the opportunity to bike or to walk.
We are one train hour from Frankfurt.
Our children are 10 and 5 years old. We always had people living with us, aupairs or workawayers from the US, the UK, France, Danmark and Canada, or students in the house.
We have a lovely Labrador mix dog.
We are used to share our space and we love to welcome people who are also open minded, curious, creative and have positive energy.
