Area: CiJin DistrictI am looking for one Workaway helper for April to help run a small guest hostel at my establishment on CiJin Island, Kaohsiung, TW. It’s best if you are available for at least 4 weeks of volunteering here. The job involves doing laundry, daily house cleaning and upkeep, and sometimes care for my 2 medium sized dogs. The hours are 5 per day, 5 days per week. I will provide you with a small private room, internet access, 2 meals per day and access to my bicycle or scooter (if you have a scooter license). Please only serious inquiries send a message to me. I will be happy to tell you about Kaohsiung, and the surrounding areas as well as travelling throughout Taiwan if you are interested in more widespread sightseeing. You can look forward to working in a relaxed atmosphere, at your own speed, and living close to the beach as well as meeting new friends from around the world.
Area: EnglandI am looking for people to join me in my home and help with all the jobs that are hard to do alone: The garden always needs care and there is house work and decorating to do. I am a Craniosacral therapist practising from my home on a smallholding on the border between Wales and England where I share the space with three horses,a dog and a cat. I study natural horsemanship. I offer bed and breakfast to people wanting to experience the calm of this lovely bit of wilderness. Life here is very quiet. there are lovely walks and nice local towns to explore. It is not possible to ride my horses, but if you want to bring your own that may be possible. Accommodation will be in the house in winter and in a tent and caravan when it is warm. No smoking in the house and no drug use anywhere on the premises.
Area: MissouriWe are a happy little family of four. We live in a remote, rural area 30 miles north of Springfield, Missouri. We have a beautiful, 10-acre, holistic hobby farm and small-event venue with an organic garden, free-range laying hens & (coming again soon) a grass-fed milk cow. We run a catering business from the basement of our home & have an outdoor dining room where seasonal events are held. As a family, we enjoy domestic travel (frugally), board games, singing/guitar, casual entertaining and occasional movies. Our sons, ages 13 & 17 are home-schooled. Their academic interests include science/technology (computer hardware/coding), design/engineering, cultural/language studies (French/German). We are of Christian faith, and strive to live accordingly. We follow a no-grain, low-carb, whole-food diet... and are really good at making it tasty!

Area: Central Coast Queensland AustraliaSINGLE helper needed for 2-3 months starting as soon as possible. No experience necessary. It is essential that you are honest, have a good sense of humour plus you must have the desire to communicate with your aussie hosts. You will have the opportunity to learn new farm skills. You will also see the local beaches, kangaroos, kookaburras, amazing sunsets and bright starlight nights. We do SIGN off 2nd year visa's. We DO NOT have WiFi so you will need your own telstra or Optus internet/phone. We have a small 122 acre lifestyle farm where we produce a few horses and cattle. You'll have your own fully furnished room, food, bathroom, open air lounge & kitchen. TV, DVD's, stereo, books, magazines and dart board all built in a large livable shed. (Photos Attached) Your daily routine could involve feeding cats, collecting horse manure, collecting wood and rocks, cleaning your cottage, washing dishes and cooking. We also need help with things like maintaining the arena, checking fences, painting, build/remove fencing, computer work, cleaning tool shed/feed shed, digging out stumps, raking/collecting mulch, rehabilitating erosion areas, operate/maintain/clean farm wagon and pump trailer, clean/refill water troughs, water indoor plants and vege garden. We are very friendly, down to earth and genuine people. We work very hard every day of the week because there is lots to do. We both have jobs so that means we are away from home sometimes. Some afternoons we go to the beach, the waterfall, fishing/crabbing, camping, koumala pub, Mackay and surrounds. You are more than welcome to join us once your jobs are done. There is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT, no shops, no night clubs and no people nearby so therefore it is extremely QUIET and peaceful at our place. We are 70km from the closest city and we only go to the city once a fortnight. We don't smoke and prefer non smokers. We don't cater for vegetarians. We live on rain water so you will need to conserve water. We get up at 6am in the morning and we start work at 630am every morning. In the bush you may see spiders, snakes and all sorts of bugs. You could have to work in the sun and you will probably build muscles. We all share lunch and dinner in the main house and you will help us with cooking and washing dishes every day. If you are afraid of hard work, cattle, cats, cleaning, cooking, talking, smiling, asking questions, 6am starts, aussie people, rural life, living in a shed, the sun, building muscles, offering help etc then THIS ISN'T THE PLACE FOR YOU. Compared to many Australians we are DEFINITELY NOT isolated. (but to you it might be isolated) We are 3km to the main (Bruce) Highway, 6km to caltex servo, 6km to waterfall and 6km to greyhound bus stop, 15km to post office, 15km to pub, 15km to national park and beaches, 36km to Woolworths etc.
