They will organise events, participate in fundraisers, develop new resources, provide logistical support, assist with promotional events and provide leadership and guidance. Their roles will not be limited by vision of the organisations.
Volunteers will also support in feeding , caring ,educating and supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Western Kenya. They will also support our Art project, farming, charity work among others.
The volunteers will offer to the community 5 hours help daily. They will be involved in teaching the community on entrepreneurship, micro-financing, double banking, proposal writing, home based care for the sick, orphans and vulnerable children. They will also be involved in fundraising, video filming and documentation for the projects, cooking among other duties as they may want to engage into them. Volunteers can donate to any of our projects at their own will and interest.

Why does workaway.info allow listings of hosts who charge money?

In developing countries (Where most hosts are involved in charity work or community development) some of our hosts may ask for a small donation to help the host family or charity (often less then 5 dollars per day) Workaway will allow this listing when the donation goes directly to the family or charity and is just to cover the cost of the volunteer's stay.  (This will be clearly marked on the host listing).
We will strictly not allow listings posted by agents, “middle men” or projects who we feel are looking to profit from a volunteers stay.
