    Description

Seb and Miriam welcome you to the smallest hostel in the Alice Springs (central Australia), we are tucked away in a quiet street just opposite arid bush land and Botanic Gardens, yet only a five minute walk from the town centre. Being the smallest, we pride ourselves on our cleanliness and friendliness, and we are happy to give you that extra bit of attention you will miss in the bigger places.

We offer accommodation in air conditioned dormitories, single, twin or double rooms, all at affordable prices. Communal facilities include a lovely lush garden featured with a sparkling swimming pool – perfect to cool down and relax with a free tea or coffee from our big catering kitchen. After that you might like firing up the BBQ and have a chat with fellow travellers while enjoying your meal. You can also chill away in the couches in our cozy Home-Cinema TV room, featuring 300+ movies, Free TV, Soundbar and USB chargers. Free unlimited and fast Wifi provided.

We hope to welcome you soon!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

This is a beautiful part of Australia and sees travellers from all over the world passing through. Here you can learn about all different kinds of cultures. Alice Springs is rich in Aboriginal culture, and it is where the Arrente people originate. The area is steep in 'dreamtime' stories and beautiful natural locations that are easily accessible from the hostel.

    Hi guys.

This is a quiet, no party hostel, with an easy going German manager.

The hostel is (almost) always in need for reliable helpers (based on free accommodation).

Main task will be, washing, drying and folding sheets. Cleaning dorms, facilities. Staff will rotate in jobs to make days off available. The Job keeps you busy a couple of hours in the morning and, depending on your task, half an hour in the afternoon.

As a thank you, we are happy to book you onto a well discounted Uluru 3 Day Tour at the End of your agreed minimum stay of 4 weeks with us. You shouldn't leave without seeing those beauties ;).

The hostel has a cozy lush garden, a lovely pool, a TV Room, a big kitchen, laundry and a BBQ Area. Games are available.

NO CALLS FROM LOCALS LIVING NEARBY! It's an offer for travelers only, thank you.

NO CARS! SORRY, WE DO NOT TAKE TRAVELLERS TRAVELLING WITH A CAR.

Host offers a wage in line with the minimum wage.
This may be partially offset by the food and accommodation offered depending on local labour laws.

    What else ...

Many travellers use this opportunity to save some money, work a cpl of hours for us in the morning and then have another paid job in the arvo or at night time (no morning jobs!!!)...everybody wins! Possibilities for longtermers to relieve the management might be given.
