Area: MunsterHi. I am an artist and art teacher (part time) and my husband manages a charter yacht company. We have two girls, 5 yrs old and 16months. They are lovely easy going little girls, that love 'doing things' (drawing, dancing, singing, watching books... going for walks, swimming, kayaking...). The eldest is going to school up to 1.30 and the youngest goes to creche two ams per week. We live in the south west of Ireland, by the sea. 5mns from kinsale (40mn if walking) and 30mns frm cork. From our house you can see the sea from most of the rooms and there is a lovely beach nearly at the doorstep. Our house faces a small island inhabited by wild goats. In winter it can get quite wild and windy, with glowing lights or dramatic skies, and in summer it sometimes becomes paradise. We are both French and moved to ireland 6 years ago. we like literature, art, music ( piano, guitar and accordion in the house), outdoor life (kayaking/gardening/walks). We are an out going family, but we like our quiet evenings for studying/reading... We do not have tv, only a computer. So great if you are independent to go to the pub and meet people (it is easy in Kinsale, a small village with many nice pubs!!), or love reading by the fireplace... we have plenty of books!!
Area: CataloniaMy partner and I have a house located near the Mediterranean coast of Costa Daurada in the Province of Tarragona in the Catalonian region of Spain, within the district of El Perelló, with the Ebre Delta near by and on route between Barcelona and Valencia. Situated within 15 acres (5.5 hecates) of private land, cultivated with olive, carab and almond trees. It is on the edge of a forest with panoramic views of mountains, the Mediterranean and rural scenery. The grounds and surrounding countryside are punctuated with dry-stone walls forming terraces of olive and almond trees, all of which are in the heart of the world class olive oil and honey production district of El Perelló. Transport links, by road AP7 motorway (exit Junction 39), locally by the A7 or the N340 and local train station L’Ametlla de Mar.
Area: Castile and LeonLOCATION. We are an eco village in Avila, 120km from Madrid, in a beautiful valley of Tietar surrounded by big gorgeous mountains, with a beautiful river and a 7m waterfall flowing just nearby the farm. It is a green, beautiful and clean environment that will be especially be liked by people who like to be in the nature. Nevertheless, there is a possibility to visit Madrid regularly. COMMUNITY. Our goal is to create the first in the world self sufficient village that practise Bhakti yoga (yoga of the heart which helps to develop self realization). Our philosophy is based on the most ancient in the world Vedic literature. We have a daily spiritual program and everyone can get involved in this program according to their capacity. Our philosophy is based on singing the God´s names (Hare Krsna maha mantra) and eating spiritual food (prasadum). Another important value that we cultivate is ecology. We are a registered ecological organization and cultivate the land based on permaculture principles (without machines and chemicals). There are 2 friendly families living in the eco village at the moment. We welcome all open minded people who are searching for answers in their life to join!
Area: North Rhine WestphaliaHi everyone! So, summercamp is starting. Right now 4 people here plus our family of 5. Still space left for nature loving people who can work to make the place we all use nice and function. We simply LOVE having people here, interested in our project, sharing ideas, having fun working together. We are about to build up an earthplace for children and permacultural gardening. we have many opportunities for you to bring your energy in the project, many chances to be taken. there's room to stay, we (ages: 46,35,12,02,00) will be enjoying very much to learn from each other, to create special places, to push the building project forward, here you find a large opportunity to try things. Our intent is to share and to have a good time with each other! yes! there's work to be done ;-) so, let's do it together... Below you find another picture of Melanie and Antonio, last summer sitting on our meadow. this is one of the places to be recreated in the summer work camp, we will start this spring to give it more "shape", plants, putting up a jurte and an outside kitchen for guests to stay in during the camp. right next to the meadow is a small uniculture forrest (with small stream - delicious water from a source 1km up the hills you see) which urgently needs restructuring - best for our campfires.
