Description

Work
We now have help untill the beginning of August, if all goes well! We are still looking for 1 or 2 people for after the 10th August, so if you are interested send us an email... The work includes looking after the dogs, kennel cleaning, exercizing and basic training, help arround the house and garden and possibly babysitting. During the Winter we offer accomodation in our guest room (converted garrage!) or in the Summer there is plenty of space in the attic for a sleeping bag, or I might get arround to organizing a spare bed... We provide basic supplies and dinner (I don't often bother with lunch as Milton is out at work, my daughter at school, and I am happy just to snack). If you want anything special you have to get your own. I usually go shopping once a week and you are welcome to come along.

What else ...
Our house is about 10km from the nearest town (Aljezur), and the bus service isn't exactly the best, so don't expect much night life!
I drive into town twice a day to take my daughter to school, and I usualy drive to Lagos to the bigger supermarket once a week, so there are plenty of opportunitys to catch a lift.

-> Dog hotel / shelter, big garden and 2 young children, Help needed! South coast of Portugal.Aussie and Milton were very friendly hosts. She is an amazing cook, and Milton and I had a good talk while chopping wood. They live in a very beautiful area full of rolling hills and wind turbines.
The guest room was very nice. It was a bit far from town, so I got a little bored on my own, but it was still a great experience for me. I wish I could've stayed longer. ;)
