    Description

Welcome to our inspirational and retreat center nestled in the beautiful natural landscape of 'Sky Mountain', also known as Himmelbjerget, in Denmark.

My name is Aslaug, and together with my daughter Lea and our charming dog Milù, I returned to Denmark from Italy in March 2017 with a vision—to establish a center for innovative co-creation and regenerative practices. Our aim is to foster a sustainable way of living through collaborative experimentation and conscious living.

We have a large property of 20 hectares and you'll find a dynamic community of individuals engaged in various facets of our project. Whether you're drawn to our retreat facilities, co-working spaces, permaculture garden and food forest or the opportunity to immerse into artistic creations and woodworking, there's space to do all of that.

Our journey is one of continual exploration, as we seek to cultivate a culture rooted in joy and presence—a culture we believe is fundamental for creating sustainability. Since taking over the property, we've embarked on numerous projects, including a permaculture kitchen garden and a medicinal herb garden. We are an entrepreneur organization and our socioeconomic initiatives team includes people with special needs.

We're looking for passionate individuals with a diverse range of skills, from construction, cleaning and interior design to gardening, organising events or marketing. If you're someone who embodies enthusiasm, creativity, and practicality, and you're eager to contribute to our visionary endeavor, we invite you to join our team. We prefer if volunteers can stay for more than a month to become more deeply involved.

In addition to being part of the meaningful work we do here, you'll have ample opportunities to connect with nature, engage in spiritual practices, and participate in stimulating conversations over shared meals. Our property, surround by breathtaking nature, is just 500 meters from the summit of Himmelbjerget—one of Denmark's most important historical places.

We offer a flexible arrangement, allowing you two days off each week to explore the area or simply unwind. With a train station just a few kilometers nearby and bicycles at your disposal, you'll have easy access to the cultural delights of Århus, named the European Capital of Culture in 2017, just a 40-minute drive away.

Embark on this adventure with us and be part of a community dedicated to nurturing new ideas and solutions for the environmental and social challenges of our time.

    Warm regards,
    Aslaug

We are seeking volunteers to lend a hand with a variety of tasks that vary depending on the season. All skills are welcome, although our maintenance team consistently have tasks in construction, power tool operation, maintenance and facility cleaning. Join us for a hands-on experience where you can learn new skills and contribute to the upkeep of our facilities.

Additionally, if the appropriate conditions are met depending on the season, we require assistance with gardening, land cultivation, art projects, help in the kitchen and support during events. Adding to that, skills such as social media management, marketing initiatives, and administrative duties for our retreat center are very welcome.
