Description
We are a friendly family (Elena 40 years old and Michele, 46), one baby (three and half years old) and a kid (12 years old), living in a nice house in the countryside. Elena used to work in cinema before moving to the countryside and she lived in India for a long time. She is now teaching Italian to refugees and working on education and cinema projects with kids. Michele is a sound engineer who works often abroad, in Africa mostly. We love travellers since we are travelling a lot ourselves. The house where we're now staying is amazing: it has a big garden, space for grill and a pizza oven! We like good food, we're not vegetarian but we eat a lot of vegetables.
The house is very near to touristic places such as Ravenna and Faenza. It's near the sea and the Appennino romagnolo is also at a short distance.

As said we both are travellers and we know what that means. We are used to cultural exchanges and, on the top of all, I am now a language teacher!

Help
As said we have two kids, and both of us are working therefore we would need somebody to help taking care of them especially the younger one. He is nice but very active and explorative, so he needs to be checked all the time. Moreover three days a week, from wednesday to Friday we would need somebody to pick him up from school that is 15 minutes drive from our place. That is why now we really need a volunteer with a driving licence valid for Italy.
The rest of the volunteer job consists of helping with the housework, specially when one of us is out for work.
We have a big, nice garden and no time to take care of it so any initiative will be more than welcomed! We would really like to have a vegetable garden (for fruits no problem because we are sourrounded by trees!) but since Matteo was born we didn't have a lot of time to spend in gardening. we have one small size dog!

We have a spare room with a large bed and two bathrooms, one for our family and the other for the guests.
What else ...
As told the house is nice and it is not far from several tourist places but transport can be an issue. We are ready to help the host to move around by dropping him/her but of course it will not always possible. Rent a bike can be a solution...
