Help an Indian American chica living in Mexico

I am a 39 y/o Indian American female living in Mexico to heal my damaged brain and rehabilitate my disabled body. Before my "accident" in 2007, I was very active and an avid practitioner of yoga. I now continue my activity with home exercise equipment and a yoga mat- LUV yoga!! I really enjoy spending time in the kitchen making vegetarian dishes with an international flair! I also love making dark chocolate treats (fudge, truffles, etc.)

•I have a local domestic worker who is here during the week helping me with my personal & household needs. You would have free time to explore the beautiful, serene area during the week, and I'd need extra assistance on the weekends.
• Need helpers that are friendly, thoughtful, & considerate with the flexibility to help me with whatever I may need
• Help with the daily errands of the outside world: buying groceries & supplies, paying bills, walking my cute little dog, etc.
• Able to take initiative in finding work that needs to be done or ways to help me
• Need to have some basic Spanish skills- Because of my limited mobility, much of the help I need is for someone to be my ambassador to the outside world. For example, developing good relationships with the merchants at the mercado so that you get good pickings of the fruit & veggies.
• Bond with my little doggie, Choco, so you can take him on walks through town
• Assistance in the kitchen with food prep
• Tending & watering of my herb garden

Sami was an absolute delight to have in my home. He eagerly jumped at any chore I threw his way and happily completed each task. He bonded well with my doggie, Choco, and the two had some fun adventures out & about. We also had a blast in the kitchen where Sami's natural talents shone bright. He made pancakes (vegan whole grain) for the first time more
I hope all my workaway experiences are as good as this one!
Shayla is such a loving and wonderful person. We had a great time together, making delicious food, watching movies and good British television, talking health and girl talk, and going to the organic market.

Maureen was a joy to have in my home for a month. She was sweet, caring, loving, funny, full of great tips to help me in the kitchen as well as my everyday life, and shared wonderful stories of her many travel adventures. She always found the best fruit & veggies for me at the mercado. My doggie, Choco, loved her and even went looking for her more
I had a great experience with Shayla! She is a wonderful and friendly person, Choco (her dog) is beyond adorable, and the food was the best! I loved having the chance to both eat it, and learn how to cook it!
The work at Shayla's is easy and low-key, and Coatepec is a nice little town with lots to explore.

John aka Juanito has been a wonderful helper. From day one, he started working on the projects I had around the house and never slowed down. He put up a wire fence on the side gate of the house to prevent my little dog from getting out, planted a veggie & herb garden, drove me to places in my VW van, helped me entertain dinner guests, took my dog more
This is my last day here. The weather was very nice and warm in the days and cool at night. There are lots of trails to hike on all around the city. The city is small and easy to get around.
I have never eaten as well as I did the last 3 weeks! Shayla has been wonderful to have conversation with and spend time with. There is also time to be more
