    We are Diaz Rueda family, commited to the conservation and protection of nature, and are dedicated to caring for a mountain still has forests and animals and where a stream of water is born in the highlands of Yariguies, Zapatoca municipality, Department of Santander, Colombia.
    We are known for being honest, hardworking, sensitive and noble, very cheerful, very musical and open to share and enjoy beautiful experiences with people from all over to visit us at our mountain.

    Somos la Familia Diaz Rueda, comprometida con la conservación y protección de la naturaleza, y nos dedicamos a cuidar una Montaña que aún tiene bosques y animales y donde nace un arroyo de agua, en la Serranía de los Yariguies, Municipio de Zapatoca, Departamento de Santander, Colombia.
    Nos caracterizamos por ser personas honestas, trabajadoras, sensibles y nobles, muy alegres, muy musicales y abiertos a compartir y disfrutar de lindas experiencias con las personas de todas partes que nos visitan en la montaña.

    We and the mountain infinitely appreciate collaboration from volunteers helping in the multiple tasks that has a nature reserve such as lift fall fences to keep out neighboring cows, trace and fix the paths to visit the reserve, planting trees in different parts of the reserve, haravest grown in reserve, harvest food grown in reserve, among other tasks that can contribute as volunteer skills.

    Nosotros y la montaña agradecería infinitamente la colaboración de voluntarios ayudándonos en las múltiples labores que tiene una reserva natural como son levantar cercas caídas para evitar que entren vacas vecinas, trazar y arreglar los senderos para recorrer la reserva, sembrar arboles en distintas partes de la reserva, cosechar alimentos cultivados en la reserva, entre otras labores que puedan aportar, según las aptitudes del voluntario.

    Accommodation is in a comfortable colonial peasant house, made of rammed earth (mud), warm to the cold of the night, with electricity, with good beds and blankets.
    The house also has a spacious kitchen and a comfortable bathroom.

    El alojamiento es en una cómoda casa campesina colonial, hecha de tapia pisada (barro), abrigada para el frío de la noche, con luz eléctrica, y con camas y buenas cobijas.
    La casa también tiene una cocina amplia y un baño cómodo.

    English version:
    Our mountain is a Natural Reserve of Civil Society, located 15 minutes by car and one hour's walk from the village of Zapatoca, Santander.
    Has oak forests (Quercus humboldtii) and palm wax (Ceroxylon quindiuense), the national tree of Colombia.
    In the reserve, apart from conservation work, we make other activities such as hiking and ceremonies of connection with Mother Earth (Pachamama) and its inhabitants as plants and animals do.

    La montaña es una Reserva Natural de la Sociedad Civil, ubicada a 15 minutos en carro y una de hora de camino a pie, desde el casco urbano de Zapatoca, Santander.
    Tiene bosques de robledales (Quercus humboldtii) y palmares de cera (Ceroxylon quindiuense), el Árbol Nacional de Colombia.
    En la montaña, aparte de las labores de conservación, se hacen otras actividades como caminatas y ceremonias de conexión con la madre tierra y sus habitantes como las plantas y los animales.
