    Description

I'm not looking for someone at the moment.

My name is Kellie. I am married to Joe. We are easy-going and fun-loving. We have Two cute puppies named Harley & Harper. They will need to be cared for by you while I'm traveling.

We are a couple who enjoy sharing our home with others. We rent rooms out to travelers and we offer our home to the Workaway community. We have had great success with both endeavors.

I love, love, love to travel. It's my passion. I am a tour leader for a women-only tour company and I am also a Travel Consultant. I love wine, music, meeting new people, walking with my dogs, playing games with friends and family, going on cruises, exploring new places and the list goes on. My dogs, Harley & Harper live with us. They are super sweet hang out around the table, hoping someone will give her a treat.

We live in a neighborhood that is 7 miles from the ocean. We are about 35 miles from San Diego and about 60 for LA.

I am trying to learn french and love to have french travelers come and help me continue my studies by speaking french with me. But you don't need to speak French to be considered.

Your Primary Job description: Care for the dogs like they are your own while I'm away.

    Duties with the dogs
    1. Feed the dogs in the morning & evening.
    2. Walk the dogs 30 min. in the morning and 30 min. later in the day.
    3. Spend some time with them during the day.
    4. Brush the dogs a little everyday. Their coats and their teeth.
    5. Keep the yard free of poop everyday.
    5. You'd need to be here every night to stay with the dogs. They can sleep with your or downstairs.
    6. Give them a bath once a week.
    7. Keep my house clean, sweep, mop, do dishes clean stove, counters and so on. NO dishes to every be left in the sink.
    8. Keep the floors clean of dog hair and such.
    9. Clean bathrooms when needed.

Other things you might be asked to do during your stay:
•Cleaning - floors, windows, bathrooms, dusting
•Work in the yard: weeding, planting, pruning

Your total responsibilities will be about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will have the weekends free except when It comes to the dogs. You'll still need to care for them on the weekends. You need to take care of them every day and spend the night here every night. They will take up about 1 hours a day of your time and then you can spend about 1 hour cleaning or working in the yard and then the rest of the time is yours to explore the area.

On the first night, while I'm here to show you around, you will be sleeping in our guest room. The room is just for you. There is a shared bathroom just next to the room.

When I am home you can eat anything in the house and I often make us dinner but when I'm not home, it's best for meals if I give you $125 per week and you can shop for yourself. That way you can pick what you want to eat. There are two grocery stores about a 15 min. walk from the house.

I do rent out the other rooms in my house, so you will have several other people in the house with you.
    Cheers,
    Kellie
