I am a multi-talented practicing artist and experienced carpenter with expertise in historical restoration, solar passive concepts. I worked 10 years as a property developer for Belize ecology and wildlife projects including guesthouse construction; then returned to Louisiana where I re-plugged into the arts as a painter and jeweler, traveler to numerous countries to experience and gain creative inspiration. Most recently, I am designing the beginning stage to develop an art village and ecology park within a rural area of French Louisiana. This development, is in partnership with a non-profit organization. It is nationally recognized by its active and popular relationships with many activities and with other countries.
You can be a part of this development by sharing your skills, energy and warm hearts. High energy folks like you can make the world go round with communication due to the internet connection.
We like family type applicants so it becomes family in harmony..
Our family is composed of: Mum. Dad and Davide (a 7 years old child). We leave in Milan, but from May to September we leave in Sardinia where we have our business (boat, sun ombrella and sun bed rental). We stay in Capo Coda Cavallo 20 Km. away from Olbia's Airport. Capo Coda Cavallo is a charming place on the Island of Sardinia, in front of us there are two small islands Tavolara and Molara but no one lives there. They form the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara – Capo Coda Cavallo.
We live in a little complex on the beach not in a city or in a village. Next to our house there are two of the most beautiful beaches of the area: Capo Coda Cavallo (where we have our business) and Brandinchi. The nearest little town is San Teodoro (10 Km) where there are a lot of young people, bars, disco, shops, etc…The biggest nearest city is Olbia (20 Km).
We are Ian & Kate. We are English (early 60's going on 35!).
We have wi-fi internet access.
We have 2 dogs who win the hearts of everyone they meet! We now have 2 kittens, also very friendly.
Kate practices Tai Chi Chaun and Qi Gong. We do not have TV. We love music and there is usually something playing. If you play an instrument and/or sing that would be great.
We can accommodate vegetarians. Food is good, wholesome with multi-cultural roots.
We offer flexible hours - agreed between ourselves: 25 hrs per week.
We live in a small village with 2 shops/pubs. It is 4km from Dobrich, a town of 90,000 people; 30km from the sea, including either quiet beaches or lively resorts, - a bus ride away.
Help wanted from mid-late May 2014 onwards.
We are building a small family. On our property we grow vegetablesand fruits. We want to work and to live permaculture. Our family consists of Theresa Brigitte (born 1963) Lucio Gonzales (born 1971) and Patricio Angelo (born 2002).
With us still live 2 horses, 1 dog and 3 cats.
Our volunteers can stay in a wooden house. We are very excited about new people and contacts.
Our property is approximately 4 km away from the road. The nearest store is 5 minutes away.
Currently we are looking forward to the most about the help with gardening.
My English is not very good. Beg your pardon for faults.
We are two girls from Oria, a beautiful town in the south of Italy, but we have been living for some years far from our hometown and have started to feel homesick. That’s why we create our project, with the aim to go back to the slow life of our land and to recover its beauty. Instead of keeping it just for ourselves, we want to share this beauty with everyone, travelers, wanderers, explorers and passerby, that want to follow our same goal. We are inviting people form all over the world!Only in summer!
We offer free hospitality but the cost of food is shared by the residents (except for the farm products and our partner's donations).
Join us if:
You want to discover the territory together with local people.
You want to make new friends
You believe that sharing knowledge is the best term of payment.
You like the countryside (but also the beautiful beach, few km far away)
You want to put your contribution into a community project that will grow thanks to you.
You don’t like stress, but you don’t refuse some mental and physical activities.
See you on summer 2014 for the 3rd edition, from 1st july to 31st august!
LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS, FOR THE NEXT JULY!!!
